Chasing away Chubby

A crappy day

Today was crappy.  I went to work, didn’t get enough done.  BF and I fought all day.  He is such a big baby I can not stand it.  It completely makes me want to stay away from him. 

DS9 lost his soccer game so he is out of the tournament.  What really sucks is they should have beat this team.  They lost in what amounts to double overtime…which in soccer is a shootout…well 2 shootouts.  It was so sad.  They were better then that team, they should have won.  DS9 was crushed.  He came home, put his trophy on his shelf, took his jersey off and hung it  with tacks on his wall, and went to bed.   He laid and watched his soccer DVD (one of the other team parents made for him) with pics from their season and music on it and then he went to sleep.   I told him I could never have been prouder of him.  He played like he wanted to win…that is all that mattered. He left it all on the field. He looked like he was gonna cry when I told him that.  That kid put his heart and soul into this team this year.  It’s so sad to see it end.  I think it bothered me as much as it did him.  I wanted to cry too.  Those kids played so hard.  I am so incredibly proud of him.  

 Food wasn’t great.  However I did run at the park before the game.  I did 3 laps which amounts to about 2.25 miles. It was  cold, about 45 degrees and the wind was gusting.  It still was a decent run.  My body warmed up quickly and the cold didn’t bother me.  My ankles and calves gave me a little trouble, but overall it was still a good run.  That makes me happy.

Other than that it was a shit day.
