Tales from my ghostly tour…
Click on the picture to see it full size. This was by far the best picture I took last night. This is a building where a little boy disappeared, never to be found, and ever since the people in the building will see a little boy. If you ever watch Ghost Hunters or TAPS, you know what this is. There aren’t 3 moons in this picture they are orbs. Orbs are thought to be light or energy from a ghost. Orbs in photos can also be caused by dust. (Usually dust orbs are much lighter, almost transluscent, and usually there are many in the picture). The big one sitting right on top of the roof looked really evil on my camera, when you zoomed in on it it was red and had a face. When I transferred the pictures to my computer I can’t figure out how to enhance it enough to see the face. Even the paranormal investigator that was leading the tour said it was creepy. Dang computers!
Again click on pictures to enlarge them! This is 2 really good pictures of orbs. They were both taken in the Roh’s Opera house. The first one is in an area of the theatre where they get alot of reports from people saying they were touched or felt something. Evidently the ghost who likes to frequent here likes to pull hair. The bright dot in the middle of the picture is an orb. Notice there are no other orbs in the picture. This one is very bright and appears to be moving which also gives it credibility that this is the real thing.
The second picture I took looking down from the balcony. No, there was not anything lying in the floor there. Again this orb appears to be moving. It is also pretty bright and is the only one in the picture.
The ghost tour was very cool. We started out at Roh’s Opera house. The most haunted building in the town and I have heard Kentucky Paranormal Investigators say that it is possibly the most haunted building in Kentucky. We walk away from there and go to the old courthouse where they tell the story of David Sheely. My town’s most famous ghost. Then we go to some other buildings. The best part of the whole tour though was when we get back to Roh’s. Then they tell us about the ghost’s who reside there. They told several stories about different people seeing the “lady in white” who scared off 6 janitors in 4 months. Then they showed us pictures of orbs sort of like the ones I have posted. But the coolest things were when KPI came in and investigated and got EVP’s. EVP’s are recordings of the ghost’s actually saying something. They had several. One a lady investigator is asking “If anyone is here, say something.” You can hear a man’s voice say “Tell her to shut up.” But no living person said that. Then another lady investigator was in the creepy basement alone and she keeps hitting cold spots and she is getting creeped out so she yells to her partner “Hey, Come down to the basement!” She did not know her partner had already came back up to ground level and could not hear her. She didn’t hear the reply at the time but there was a male, almost demon- like voice on the tape saying “YEEESSSSSsss!” CREEPY!
The saddest were of the voice of a child. It sounds like the voice of a 3 or 4 year old child so you can’t tell if it is a boy or a girl. But on one tape recording you hear her (I think it is a girl) saying “I don’t wanna play.” On the last one 2 of the investigators are talking, they were closing up, saying about how they had gotten alot of good pictures that night and the child says “Are you taking pictures of me?” again, the men heard nothing…until they listened to the tape later. That broke my heart! Made me wanna take that little ghost kid home with me.
So on November 3rd KPI is coming back to investigate this place some more and for $25 you can join the investigation. So my sisters and I signed up. We are all into the ghost thing, so this should be fun. And like I said before, I have lived in 2 haunted houses, so not much scares me. But that is a tale for another blog…
Well today I am running 2 miles and doing homework. Not much else I will get to do today because I have to get all this homework turned in! I will blog again tonight! Have a great Sunday Chicks!
