Ready to Run

I was planning to work out for 45 minutes tonight but after giving baby boy a bath I am bushed. Now all I am thinking about is hitting the sack.
It is unusually quiet around here tonight. My kids are on fall break this week. (My fall break is next week. I work in the next county over, a different school system.) So DS9 and DD are off to Nana’s to spend the night. DS16 is at my Mom’s watching TV for the moment so it is just me and DS3. He found the Pagemaster (Do you remember that movie?) story book and tried to make me read the entire thing to him. That thing is LOOOONG! We got about half way through it and he started getting antsy. I told him we had the movie somewhere and he had me digging through all the dusty VHS tapes trying to find it. We couldn’t find it, but I am sure he will have me looking for it tomorrow!
I took the day off tomorrow. This set of classes end on Sunday, and I need the extra day to get things done. Friday I am off too, and it will be reserved for house cleaning. yipee.
Next week, when I should be free I will be doing my field experiences for college at my kids school. All week. That is just like going to work, except with bigger kids. :( Well, It has to be done!
So the plan is that tomorrow I get up and go run. I plan on running 3 miles- no stopping. I don’t know if I can do it since I am already sore from tae-bo and weight lifting. I won’t know until the morning, and really not until I start the run. After I hit the pavement and can tell how my body feels then I will know whether or not I can do it.
Gosh, I hope it is an easy run tomorrow. It really sucks when it hurts, and I so love to run! I miss the days of myy youth when I could just run…just run…no pain, no stiffness, no arthritis, no voice in my head saying I couldn’t do it. Just run.. no shin pain, no knee pain, no body aches , no ankles cramping up. Ahhh…to be 15 again! ![]()
