I awoke this morning a woman on a mission. I did 20 minutes of yoga and then did week 5 day 1 of C25K. It was hard. What made it so hard was that the first half or so I had the “wimp” on my shoulder. Oh you know the wimp…that little voice that tells you that you are too tired, this is too hard, you can’t do this. It really got to squaking when I realized that my second 5 minutes was gonna be up heartattack hill. God, that monstrosity can really kill you. But I sucked it up and ran the entire way up. It took me about 2 minutes to get up it, I was barely moving, but I pulled it off and am a whole lot better for it. I would have felt like crap if I had let myself quit. I did my last 5 min run, which of course had a hill, a much smaller hill, but a hill just the same, and then walked for a half a mile. Then I did 2 more miles where i walked the hills and ran the flats and the downhills. I did a total of 86 minutes and 5 miles. I was completely wiped out. Total exercise for today was 106 minutes!
As the day wore on my throat became sore and i just began to feel like complete sh*t. I have taken some meds and now at 8 at night am eyeing the bed. So tired.
Calories today were under 1500. :) Yay for me! Well I am off for a bath and to sleep.

OMG, I’m in awe of your exercise!! Week 5 is hard, but you did great! I love your analogy of the little wimp on your shoulder lol. I think I have 2 of those guys on BOTH shoulders. Sorry you’re sick, there seems to be a lot of that going around. Sounds like you had a good day in spite of it.
