Exciting Day
Today was interesting. I did well on my partial liquid diet. For Dinner I made homemade pizza. It was pretty good. I ate 3 pieces. I drank half a soda, a rare indulgence which was stupid of me. It hurt my stomach. I knew better! Then Mom pulled out a buttermilk pie and I had a piece of that, and later had a bite of a zinger, and a few bites off a milky way dark. Needless to say, this was not the best food day. I ended up getting diarrhea and I got nauseous. Serves me right for eating all that junk! If I had just stayed with the pizza I would have been fine, but I went off the deep end! Can’t wait to see my weight tomorrow!
Speaking of weighing. I am weighing in everyday, and then on Friday I will average my weight and that will be how I determine my losses/ gains. Weighing on the same day every week works, but if you weigh on Tuesday and your down 2 pounds and then by Friday you are the same weight you were the week before it’s hard on your morale. I think an average weekly weight is a good way to go. The only bad part is having to deal with the daily ups and downs and not letting an up on one day drag you down into the bowels of compulsive eating. Well, I will try it and see how it works.
Yesterday I noticed DD had a place on the bottom of her foot. It looked like a splinter. It also looked like it was getting infected, there was a small red line coming out from it. So I cleaned it and bandaged it and promised myself I would keep an eye on it, and then promptly forgot about it today. I am such a bad mother! I go to town to run some errands and my mother calls to inform me that her foot looks alot worse and the line is now about 3-4 inches long. I call the doctor and they say to bring her in immediately. When I get home to get her the line is about 5 inches up the front of her ankle. The actual sore is on the bottom of her foot about an inch below her big toe. It had grown that much. I grab Trini (who is in her t-ball uniform. Her tournament game was an hour from starting at this point!) I get her to the doctor and it takes forever for the doc to see her. He finally does and she has a fever! She has some sort of blood infection. He lances the spot (which went over really well with her! My ears are still ringing!), cleans it, and bandages it. He prescribes some stuff to soak her foot in and an antibiotic to help clear the infection. She has to go back to see him again on Saturday morning.
We leave the Dr office about half an hour after her game started. At this point, she could play, but she doesn’t want to. They ended up losing by one point! So that is the end of their season! So she missed her last t-ball game EVER! She has to move up to coach pitch next year and I don’t think she wants to play anymore. I am so sad!
Well here are my measurements. I am going to take them to compare them in a month and see how far I have come!
Bust 45 ”
upper waist 40″
lower waist 47-1/2″
butt 48″
bicep 14 ”
calf muscle 17″
I have a long way to go.

I like how you’re doin’ this - you know so many different things work for different people and why not try something to see if it’s successful?
Don’t stop bloggin lady - I gotta see how this ends!
