4/6/09 Brrrrr…..

*shivers*  It is supposed to be spring here people!!!  So WHY is it currently 37* and SNOWING???  Ok, no accumulation but seriously, as I type it is snowing fat little fluffy bits of snow past my living room window!  Did I mention that yesterday we had a high of 65*?  No?  There are many things I like about where I live…the weather is NOT one of them.  And the worst part of it is that unless I can find SOMETHING in this house for dinner tonight, I have to go out in this cold yuck to get groceries :(  I am praying for something in the freezer to magically appear.    I guess I should be thankful, at least I’m not one of those poor schmucks who are braving the freezing temps to attend today’s opening day for the St. Louis Cardinals.  I will watch that in the relative comfort of my own home :)

Weekend was busy and definitely not long enough.  Friday night was my Relay for Life team’s Trivia tournament.  I think we had a pretty good turnout and everyone seemed like they had a good time.  We raised over $2,000 and I didn’t get home till after midnight!  Which reminds me..I am 1/3 of the way to my personal goal :)  The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is who has donated to me, because usually it is only my family who donates and I get the $ from them in person.  Supposedly there is a way to find out so I need to see if I can figure it out because the wondering is killing me lol.  I’m wondering if something isn’t showing up on my computer because it is a Mac, maybe I will try DH’s computer and see if I can look that info up.

The boys are on spring break this week…I hope I can keep them entertained and that the fighting is minimal.  I am hopeful but not truly optimistic lol.  Today we are just going to kind of hang out here, maybe tomorrow  I will take them to the library.   One day this week I will take them bowling..I enrolled them in the kidsbowlfree.com program which gives them each 2 free games a day through the summer, and the program started today :)  Other than that, I have no idea…I’d love to go to the zoo but it isn’t supposed to be very warm this week *sigh*.  I wish they’d move Spring Break to later in the month..I bet you anything next week it will be beautiful with warm temps and sunny skies!  

I guess I should get going around here…It is 9;15 a.m and I am still sitting her in my pajamas, and I really do have a lot of (uninteresting) things to do today.  Here’s to a good start of the week ladies!
