Well, today’s the day. D-day, kinda. Why kinda? Mostly because I actually started my diet journey a long time ago. How’d that work out for me? Well, here I am. September of last year (2011) I decided to change my life. I cut out all sugar, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and most processed foods. My starting weight was 337 (I’m 5′4). At least that was my first official weigh in. Between September and January, I got down to 308.
I felt SO much better when I started losing weight, but as things became more stressful at home and at work, I slowly started eating worse and worse.
I weighed myself officially again, yesterday. 333. Ugh. I think about all that work I did and want to scream… or cry. What was I thinking?
Now I am determined to leave the past in the past and start over. Today is a new day.
