I’m sorry to hear about all of the family stress. That is the worse kind where you feel obligated. I can totally relate to what you are saying - my Dad left me when I was 5 and as I got older and he wanted to see me I wouldn’t want to and the thought of it made me sick becasue he was just a stranger to me. He has died years ago and I don’t ever regret not visiting with him. What did I have to miss - nothing. You are an adult so just do what you think is right but try not to have any regrets later.

oh Linda…soo sorry to read about all this stress…you know, as I was reading about your mom demanding you come visit, I was thinking…but SHE is the one who chose to move clear across the country when she got remarried…you are just living where your own roots are….

Families can be so hard to deal with…I hope it all works out for you. Its too friggin hot to go to GA this time of year anyway…haha HANG IN!!!! (((((HUGS))))))

Poor Linda! (Seriously.) Sorry this is such a stressful time for you with work and your mother. Thank goodness for kitty & the workouts as stressbusters!

My folks moved out of state and I still resent it, especially the fact that they moved there nearly 16 years ago and they’ve come back to visit exactly one time… Sorry you’re being subjected to such manipulation.

I can’t imagine how stressful the work AND the Mother thing are! Good Lord! Keep working out is all I can say. Having been somewhat involved in an out-sourcing project to Bangalore, you have my utmost sympathy.

I watched Hot in Cleveland too….I think it has potential. I like all the actresses in it…they are all funny. so how did you like it?
I never heard of loquats either…is it a fruit or something?

Now you know it wasn’t all in your head. I’ve never heard of loquats. Hmmm… I watched Hot in Cleveland. I thought it was pretty good. We’ll see for sure with the next episode. Have a wonderful weekend!
