Morning everyone and happy Thursday. It’s a cool dark morning here and that is okay by me. I am still half asleep. I forget over the summertime how cocooned I get in my bed over the winter. UGH. It’s all those covers. They are heavy and it makes it doubly hard to get up. I mean, who wants to do weightlifting before they are ever vertical? :lol:

Work yesterday was fine. I started getting a sinus headache about 3pm and finally packed it in here about 20 minutes early. I was also falling asleep at my desk and needed fresh air so it was time to leave. The drive to the gym was fine and the fresh air and movement got rid of the headache and the sleepiness. Since yesterday was a cardio only day, I worked out alone. I made it through, barely, and then went home for dinner. Dinner was dill pickle meatloaf and giant bowl of roasted veggies. Dessert was popcorn and a jello cup. There wasn’t much on TV last night, so I played online a bit, but was in bed after a hot shower by 9pm.

Up on time this morning, very reluctantly. I cannot even blame the Furball as she was already up. I had weird dreams last night for some reason so I think I wanted to stay in bed and get some dreamless sleep. I did haul myself up, got cleaned up, had a breakfast sandwich and then got on my way. The commute was nice and here I am at work. The email wasn’t bad this morning at all. Whew! I have one meeting later on today and my manager has given me permission to spank them, nicely of course. :D Fat lot of good it will do, but it makes me feel better! I told my manager I still think we need this escalated to the director to handle. After work, I am off to the gym to meet with the trainer. Another total body workout day. Sigh. Sometimes I get so pooped at the end of the day, I wonder how I can drive home let alone get to the gym. Luckily getting to the gym wakes me up, but that last bits of cardio I do after my early cardio and weightlifting are a killer. I have made it a goal now to get more than 5000 strides during that 30 minute period on the cross ramp and make sure I burn 600 calories in cardio for the 55 minutes I do. I KNOW I don’t actually burn that much, but I want to see that exertion level on the machine. Then of course there are the calories I burn doing weightlifting for 50 minutes. No idea how much those are but I want to be dripping with sweat every time. Anyway, after my workout I am heading home for dinner. Dinner is chorizo chicken, Mexican rice and Mexican cucumber salad. Dessert will be the last of the fiber one yogurt. It wasn’t bad at all. I had a coupon for a free pack so I tried it. TV is Grey’s and taping Private Practice. Hair washing and bed right after that.

I am sitting here with a rumbling stomach and I don’t like it. This isn’t a craving, but true hunger. I would be satisfied eating carrots and celery right now if I had any!! I don’t have any snack here other that the tiny 22 calorie dum dum pops and I don’t want to eat those until I am full!! I’ll just sit here and slurp water and chew gum until I can eat my string cheese in 30 minutes and then lunch in two more hours! Argghhh. This doesn’t happen very often, luckily so I’ll just suck it up and live with it I guess.

    Oh Linda, I am so happy for you. When I read that you lost 85 pounds I actually teared up. LOL. What a tremendous amount of dedication and tenacity that took! And only 15 pounds to go - you are so close. You must feel like a new woman! Imagine how you’ll feel after the tuck! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!! :D

    well, you know what your trainer would say….if it is true hunger, you should eat something…its your body sending you messages. :)
