Calmer today – so far

Morning everyone and Happy No Humping day. Lovely cool Fall morning here.  It’s kind of overcast here today with a chance of some sprinkles. I hope it does rain. We always can use it. It would be nice for it to wait until I am home however. :)

Work yesterday was fine Pretty busy but I like it that way. Well as long as everyone isn’t being a butthead. Butthead days are no fun and luckily yesterday wasn’t one of those days. I left work on time and had a really nice drive to the gym. I got in some cardio and then met with the trainer. It was a total body workout day and yep I got tired.  I did a lot of balance ball work and that sucker makes everything harder. My toe was more tolerant of pushups so I am glad things are getting better. I got in my cardio afterwards and then went home for dinner. I was especially starving last night. It was funny. When I got to the parking lot after my workout, as I was putting my gym bag in the trunk it suddenly occurred to me that I got to go home and EAT!  I got so excited at the prospect, I think I leaped for joy a little.    Dinner was chicken stuffed with chorizo(soyrizo) Mexican saffron rice and Mexican cucumber salad. Dessert was popcorn and a jello pudding cup. I had some turkey pepperoni later on because I was just freaking famished! I watched The Biggest Loser so if you haven’t watched it yet, spoilers ahead!!  The show itself wasn’t all that interesting except for the twist of the red line.  That really lit a fire under those butts, didn’t it? WOW on some of the loss numbers. I was really sorry to see Daniel go home, but he has been struggling for awhile (except for last week). It wasn’t unexpected. I thought the group would have picked Amanda to go home instead of Shay, but they didn’t. I guess there were some alliances or maybe personality issues going on that we didn’t get to see. It was sooo sad to see David, Daniel’s partner from last season looking even heavier than he did before he started TBL. Poor guy. Something is so sad in his heart he cannot see his way right now.  I thought Daniel looked great. I was disappointed they didn’t show Shay but she was on Leno right afterwards and I hear she is down to 320 pounds. Good for her. For someone that whined she had no support at home, she sure had a lot of people at her house waiting for her when she went home, didn’t she?  :P  I took a hot shower afterwards and went to bed.

Up on time this morning. The Furball got up a bit before me so that made it easier for me to move. Hard to move with sleepy warm kitty cat next to you!  I had veggie hash, got changed and on my way. The commute was really nice this morning. Maybe some people are taking Veteran’s Day off?  Mt. Email was pretty kind when I got in too, so that makes me happy. I have no meetings nor calls scheduled and will hope it stays this way.  After work, I am off to the gym for a cardio only day. Booooring, but it has to be done. Dinner is dill pickle meatloaf and roasted veggies with popcorn and jello for dessert, I think. TV tonight is nothing interesting so I’ll play around online and get to bed early.

I was thinking today that there are only 50 days until 2010. Fifty days! Are you ready? Have you accomplished what you wanted to this year? If not, get started now so by the New Year you are well on your way! Have a nice Wednesday everyone and don’t forge to sweat.

Oh thanks for the update on Shay- wonder why they showed it on Leno- good for her for not giving up (even though she still bugged me lol).

I did see that with the other person- it made me wonder how many of TBL contestants had gone back to their old ways. Very Sad.

Haha on your comment- Rebecca is 25 and Daniel is 20- I didn’t realize she was 5 years older than him. Apparently he updated on his twitter that she’s his gf? Don’t know 100% since I don’t use Twitter.

No wonder you were starving last night after that total body workout. Your meals always sound so yummy…

50 days…well, I feel this year will be really different for me, in that I am an official WW now….I am in my fourth week and am wondering, really what to me so long to take the plunge and do this…I hope to GOD it sticks this time. Like glue! LOL Everything up until this point, has prepared me for these next two months. I don’t bake like I used to…and although I am hosting Thanksgiving as usual…I get to choose what dishes to make and am going to take full advantage of that! It can’t hurt anyone to go a little more healthy this year. :)

I was really curious about Shay too. On the Biggest Loser site, there’s a “where is she now” video. She’s a very talented public speaker.

50 days, uh? That’s at least 40 workouts and at least another 5 lbs.
