I haven’t slept in 27 hours but wanted to ask you guys to pray for my oldest DD. She was in a car accident last night. She is fine. I took her to the hospital, where we arrived around 9:15 p.m. and left at 4:40 a.m. They took x-rays and did a ct scan on her head and they found out she does indeed have a brain! :) There are no broken bones or brain swelling but she’s pretty beat up and banged up. He gave her three prescriptions: ibuprofen, loritab and a muscle relaxer that I’m not even going to try to spell. He told her to take it easy the next few days.
She was coming home on the highway when she swerved to avoid hitting the three deer that were in the road. She spun, hit the guardrail, flipped over the guardrail, flipped her car two-three times and landed on the driver’s side wedged by a tree. She climbed out the rear passenger window, which is gone and climbed to the guardrail. A good Samaritan stopped and calmed her down and made sure she wasn’t bleeding while they waited for the sheriff, volunteer fire department, tow truck and mom to arrive. I have never seen this man before in my life but I hugged him twice before we left! Her car is totalled.When I got there, the car was still down the embankment and if I had seen the car without having talked to her first, I would have thought the worst. One of the tires was completely snapped off the axle and there is not a spot on that car that is not dented or scratched. There were clothes that were in her trunk that were up in the trees. Lyon’s towing took it to their place of business. All of the officials there, including two deputies, volunteer FD and the tow guys said they have never seen a car that looked like that have someone walk away from it. God was with her and I praise Him for it!
She is sleeping now and I need to be. So, have a good day and Praise the Lord for his many, many blessings! Please keep her in your prayers as she will be very sore these next couple days. Thanks.
