I didn’t make it to the Y last night as planned. It was such a nice evening that I went to a local outdoor track and walked 3 miles. It was nice. I saw a fellowchurch member and walked and talked together a bit and got to know each other better. Our church has two Sunday morning services: one at 8:30 and one at 10:00 and unless you go to the same service, you don’t know everyone. He attends first service and I attend second so it was nice to get better acquainted. I know his wife pretty well as we’ve been on women’s retreats and such together. Our church isn’t that big; we probably have about 600 members but we are outgrowing our current facility. Right now, we’re working on getting out of debt and have cut our debt by 40% just since January, 2008. Then we’ll think about building.

I went for a walk this morning. Not sure how far but we walked for a good 40 minutes or so. I’m going to the Y tonight to use the weight machines.

Oldest DD goes to Nashville today to take her ASFAS, military apptitude test. She’s joining the Navy.
