Okay, this is the third time, literally, that I’ve typed this crazy thing! But I have a bulldog tenacity so here it is.
Yesterday I mentioned that I was visiting family in Hoosierville, aka Indiana, and how I would be walking into a den of iniquity. Okay, not a den of iniquity but certainly a big den of temptation and junk food city. :) I was here two minutes when I saw oreo’s and chips. My oldest daughter, the saboteur, made a cake! The good news in this situation is that I wasn’t tempted. So, whatever prayers and thoughts you’ve been directing my way, keep them coming. I really appreciate them.
I do, however, fully intend to enjoy coffee and breakfast with my sisters, daughter, niece and nephew in the morning. Then back on track.
I have two out of three days of exercise in so tomorrow will have to be and excercise day. Then Sunday will be another week of taking it one day at a time.
That’s it for now. Hey, does anyone know who won the Kentucky/Louisville football game? Hope things are well. Have a great day!
Great job with steering away from junk food city.
visiting with family is always enlightening…happy weekend!

August 30, 2008 @ 1:36 amwow, good job on resisting the temptations. Even if you don’t resist them all for all of the weekend, celebrate every small success - each thing you turn down, each small portion instead of full-hog one, and each extra walk or trip up the stairs — in the end all of that adds up.
