Yesterday’s quote was: Victory is won not in miles but in inches. Win a little now, hold your ground and later, win a little more. Louis L’Amour
Yesterday, I won a little ground and I’m working to hold onto it. I’ve been craving Chinese food, which in and of itself is a big deal. I crave Chinese like I crave Taco Bell-once in a blue moon. I’ve been craving Chinese b/c I went to a Chinese restaurant in Pennsylvania and they had no Seseme seed chicken. Can it be unamerican for a Chinese restaurant not to have seseme seed chicken? Anyway, since seseme seed chicked is my favorite Chinese dish and I didn’t get any in PA, I’ve been wanting Chinese since then. Yesterday, hubby took me to Chinese and I got my seseme seed chicken. All is right with the world.
While at this Chinese restaurant, which was, of course, a buffet, I only had one plate of food. I didn’t feel the compulsion to eat more b/c it was a buffet. Plus, I did leave some food on my plate. Also, every square inch of my plate was not covered so I gained a little ground. I’ve held onto it today by only eating when hungry. Tomorrow, I’ll hold on to it and gain a little more ground by dragging my sorry booty to the Y in the morning. I will win this battle, inch by inch; step by step; pound by pound.
Hope all is well with your world. Have a blessed day.
