Well, I guess today will be my day off from exercise. I got up this morning and the roads were really icy. I decided not to chance it and crawled back in bed. I won’t have a chance later b/c of church so, day off it is. I don’t want to chance getting out after while for work but you know the old saying, I owe, I owe: it’s off to work I go.
They have cancelled the city schools today as well, which very, very rarely happens. DH called a few minutes ago to tell me to be very careful. He’s such a sweet man.
I feel like eating went well yesterday. I tried a veggie burger for the first time. We had that, tater tots and mixed veggies. I ate a little too much of the tater tots but I’m not going to stress about it. I liked the veggie burger okay. It tasted good but the texture was weird. This was the Boca brand. Anyone have any other veggie burger recommendations?
My body is ready for me to have a day off. I’ve been back at it hot and heavy for a week now. I usually take off one day a week to let my body recuperate from being pushed more than it’s used to being pushed. I think tomorrow night I’ll try going back to yoga. It’s a gentler class not a “I’m so sore I can’t get out of bed” class like Tuesday nights. My goal is to eventually add Thurs. and Sat. yoga classes to my exercise schedule whenever possible. I enjoy yoga so much.
That’s all from the frozen Commonwealth of KY. Have a great day!
I tried the Boca brand “crumbles”. They are supposed to be like crumbled ground beef that you use in tacos or casseroles. I was less than impressed. It wasn’t awful…but I am a Minnesota farm girl raise on homegrown corn fed BEEF!!! I have switched from beef to ground turkey breast. My family still eats beef though.
On a side note…I found your previous post very inspiring. I too am struggling to break the emotional eating cycle!! Thanks for your insight!!!!
