Do we have any scientists/inventors out there? If so, I have a great idea: please come up with some glasses that makes tempting food invisible. That would be most helpful.
I’ve not really been tempted today but I was sitting in the kitchen at work and there is junk food just everywhere! If I’m not going to eat it, I’d just as soon not look at it either. I did struggle with some temptations in the afternoon but resorted to my cottage cheese as my snack instead of giving in. As a matter of fact, when I went to Subway and bought my soup for lunch, I did actually buy a chocolate chip cookie. I didn’t, however, eat it and ended up giving it to the office junk food queen. I know that my DH will more than likely get me some kind of small container of candy for Valentine’s day: a sampler size or something since he knows I’m trying to be healthy. And I’d rather wait for that and enjoy it than settle for coffee cake that’s been in the work kitchen for more than a week.
I went to the Y this morning. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. I was planning on going back tonight if I had to take my youngest DD to the Y for yoga, but she got a babysitting gig instead. I think tomorrow I might do the circuit room instead of the elliptical. We’ll see.
