I’m sooo happy it’s the weekend; even if it was only a three day work week it has been a loonnggg one. Extra glad it’s the weekend b/c I’m travelling to Indiana to visit my sisters and dad. Looking forward to coffee w/the sister’s tomorrow!
Today has gone well. I didn’t get to the Y this morning so I took a 30 minute walk on my lunch hour. It was nice. Eating choices have gone well. breakfast: 1 serving Special K w/1 teaspoon sugar, 1 serving 2% milk, lunch: lowfat sub, apple and water, dinner: low fat/low cal. crock pot meal. I met my water goal today as well.
Now, my sister is making breakfast for us that is a little heavier than what we normally eat (pancakes and homemade syrup) but we’re eating light for lunch and dinner. I wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings, now would I? I’m joking. I already mentioned once before that I don’t think any food is paticularly bad for you in moderation. So, moderation it shall be. I’m not about to turn down pancakes; especially since we eat them very seldom.
gotta run; eat my dinner and hit the road.
Oh, what part of your body hurts or aches the most when you start exercising again? Mine is always, inevitably my ankles! Weird. Oh, well-I’ll just have to keep exercising and make them stronger. Have a great weekend. God bless.
I love pancakes for breakfast, but I can’t seem to stop myself from wanting to take a nap immediately after. I wonder if whole-wheat pancakes do the same… have a great weekend!
