to post a picture, use the “image” icon, which is the one 2 to the left of the ABC icon.
It’s better if you post from a (free) photobucket account, rather than uploading from your own pc; won’t use your wordpress space.
Pretty straightforward once you click the image icon.
Oh, and I moved my blog to here:

and you get rid of those kids by changing your template. (which is: meta, site admin, design.)
