Monday and married for 6 months

Well ive been told that the first year of marriage is always the worst. I guess im over the hump and so far weve only had one major fight (last week LOL) Other then that no worrys! We dont fight about money cuz i handle all the fianances and hubby just doesnt seem interested. I just make sure i finagle it so we always get by.  We usually only fight about stuff when hubby keeps things in too long and then blows up about them (we are trying to kick that in the butt) I tell everyone that marriage life to us is the same that it was before except i changed my last name. And its true. We lived together before we got married, i have been handling the money since we got engaged over 2 years ago. So not much has changed.

The diet has been really off. Im scared to look at the scale. I just keep eating and eating and eating. I dont know what to do with myself. Im not even consious of it anymore. I get up to get a 100 cal snack and end up grabbing 2 so i dont have to get up again! IVE NEVER DONE THAT!!!! Im seriously looking into joining the YMCA. I love swimming and hubbys all for it. And its half the cost of a one person gym membership for BOTH of us!

Im also thinking about going tanning again. I went tanning as a teen because i used to break out alot and when i went tanning i stopped. Well im 25 and im starting to break out again! JOY! So im heading down the the locale tanning place to see what their rates are.

Ok thats it for now. I have to go to the Math clinic today for major help in math. Im suppose to be on Chapter 5 but im only on chapter 2. Im way behind… i mean like WAYYYY behind. So i need to get my behind ahead!!!

It was the same for dh and I when we got married. We lived together in a house we bought before we got married. It was all good. Dynamics changed a bit after babies were born though….

I am 44, well, almost, and have been breaking out as bad as my 16yo daughter! hormones suck! LOL I tan once a year, before we go on vacation down south, to help minimize the chance of getting a bad burn. But I don’t really notice any change in my skin because of it.

Are you getting enough water in? Supposedly that is a major thing for fighting off breakouts.

We are members of our local YMCA and I love it! I don’t know what all of them are like but ours is awesome. Our town actually has 2 (you only need the one membership) and I can’t imagine not being a member. The new one that just opened up a few years ago has an indoor walking track, big fitness/weight room, indoor basketball and tennis courts, gymnastics room, a skating rink and an outdoor pool! The old one is smaller but it still has a fitness/weight room, basketball courts, 2 pools and I think most of the other classes are held there, like step, spinning, etc.

Happy 6 month anniversary. You made great progress before when you were focused, hopefully you can find that focus again. I didn’t get pimples until I was in my 20’s. Skipped right over them in high school… thought I was home free and BAm! I hope the next six months will be even better than the last.

Any word on the army yet?
