Doc apt went well. Baby gave us a little nod on the ultrasound to say “whats up”. I only gained 3lbs for the first month. YAY. I graduated college. (still taking one college class though) Human bio. I get to disect a cow eye, a sheep heart. sheep brain, and a pig fetas. (im not looking forward to it) Hopefully i dont throw up!

I am feeling really down about my weight. I know im going to get bigger because of the baby but i feel so HUGE. I am now offically over 300lbs. So depressing. I am trying to gain as little weight as possible while still being healthy.

So…. i am totally looking forward to being a mom. I really dont like this whole pregnancy thing LOL. I hate feeling like im going to gag most of the time. I hate that i smell EVERYTHING! I hate that im tired all the time. And the worst part of it all is that….. most women have it worse during the first trimester.

Also on  the blob thing… Ive decided to write down what i eat. Honestly I was eating alot but it was alot of cherrys, grapes, and strawberries. But too much of a good thing isnt good either.

Final isnt until tomorrow. So the plan for today is… Nap, cleaning, studying.

I feel like crud! I am constantly worried about the baby. I know this is morbid but i keep wondering if its still alive. I am so worried that it wont survive inside me and I wont know until the next ultrasound which isnt for another 9 weeks.

On top of all that its finals week. I went to class today because i thought i had my final only no one showed up! Then i saw a kid that is in that class and he acted like he didnt even know me. He asked me what class i was waiting for and I said the history class and he acted  like he wasnt in the class with me at all. But im pretty sure hes in my class. We did a project together…………………………….. OMG i just realized he was in my ceramics class!!!!!!! It wasnt the same kid. I feel like such an idiot.

I honestly think I am losing my mind!

Hubby hogged the bed last night. I pushed and shoved him and he would not move over. So i spent the night on the couch. Didnt get much sleep either (because i thought i had the  final).

Im just a mess right now!

ps my brother is opening for bon jovi with his band in NJ on May 27th. My entire family is going….. but i graduate college on the same day. So no one besides hubby is going to my graduation. My dad called me and basically asked me for permission to skip graduation. Hes trying to make up for it with a graduation party (that i really dont think i want)

welp…. im a blob! lol I keep gaining weight and im just paranoid that its all fat. Im terrified to exercise in the first trimester cuz i heard if you get your heartrate up you can lose the baby. So i walk. but thats it. Is it bad that i cant wait till i have this baby so i can start losing weight. I am over 300lbs right now. I get so depressed over it.

Welp, today I got a call for the doctors. Progesterone levels look good. This means i have less of a chance of miscarriage (i hope). At least miscarriage due to low progesterone levels. I can’t wait till I’m 13 weeks and I have a little less to worry about. On thursday I will be 8 weeks. So here is the 8 week update on my little peanut!

This week, your little tadpole is starting to look a little bit more human. Other exciting developments include:

Your baby’s eyelids, ears, upper lip and the tip of his soon-to-be adorable button nose are forming.

Junior will also sprout webbed fingers and toes this week—which you’ll be well aware of in a few months, as baby starts early gymnastics classes inside you.

Baby’s tiny heart has separated into four distinct chambers and is really ticking now—at a rate of 150 beats per minute. That’s more than twice your resting heart rate (even when Brad Pitt is on the screen).

Your baby is now a little more than ½ inch long.

Today I have my first baby doctors appointment. I am going to try to convince him to do the ultra sound as well. On top of all that we are putting in an offer on a house that i really want. I cant wait. Everything is so exciting today. I hope i get to hear baby A’s heartbeat. And find out if im carrying one or two babies.  Here is the baby update for week 7! YAY

Your Baby
This week starts a period of rapid cellular development for your baby-to-be, who looks like a mini tadpole, with a tiny head and tail. His or her eyes, ears and mouth have begun to form (though they’re a little more Discovery Channel “creatures of the sea” documentary than Gerber Baby at this point).

Your baby’s heart is now beating to a regular beat, although it’s still too faint to hear.

His or her arm buds are just beginning to, well, bud. They look like teensy swollen bumps at this point. In a few days, they’ll resemble itsy-bitsy flippers.

Your baby has grown to ⅛ inch long—about the size of one of the chocolate sprinkles on your last cupcake (and your last ice cream cone, and your last sundae and your last giant cookie … maybe there is something to those rumors about pregnancy cravings!).

Thats how long I have been pregnant for! Only our families know and a handful of friends. My symptoms so far: Gas, cravings for french fries, nausea if im hungry, tired all the time. lol No real morning sickness yet. My first doctors apt is on May 4th. My first ultrasound for Baby A is on May 7th (we find out if its 1 baby A or 2 Baby A’s). Hubby and I are convinced its a boy. (although I’d be extatic to be able to dress up a girl) LOL We aren’t getting any baby stuff what so ever yet. We plan on moving closer to my family sometime in October.  The baby’s due date is Dec 23rd. He’s/She’s going to be a yule baby! I track my babies progress everyday online.

This week:

Your baby’s microscopic heart begins to beat this week—although it won’t be detectable with one of those cool Dopplers for a few weeks, so you’ll have to wait a little longer to hear that satisfying “whoosh-whoosh” you’re so anxious for. Here’s what else is under construction:

The beginnings of the brain; the cardiovascular, nervous and reproductive systems; as well as all other major systems are under way.

Your baby’s new digs—the amniotic sac and the placenta (aka the hotel and the restaurant)—are still forming at this point. (Maybe you should send a housewarming gift.)

All that high-speed development and your baby is only 2 millimeters long—about the size of a sesame seed (check one out next time you’re chowing down on a bagel—you won’t believe how tiny it is!).

Not pregnant yet. We are trying again for next month. Im still on Metformin for the insulin resistance (which is having nasty side effects) and clomid to help with ovulation. Im on a diet and so far have lost 4lbs this week. Doc appointment is still set for the 24th to talk about options and stuff. I see the endocrinologist about the pcos sometime in April.  Hubby and I are looking into moving closer to my family.

Ok weight……. i weighed in at 289 on the 19th and as of today I weigh 285. (also take into consideration that i have my period and i probably dropped alot of water weight and such)
