rainbows in the dark

Um.

So along my whole journey, I’ve been taking photos of myself, every now and then, in my underwear. For my own personal stash. Seems I need to compare them to each other sometimes to see any progress at all. I was taking a set today when I noticed something very peculiar… My thighs. They were not touching. Granted, it’ll mostly depend on my posture as to whether or not that happens. But I never thought just a couple of millimeters would ever mean that much (No wait, labour. millimeters have importance there, too)

I’ve been a little loose this week. I’ve been expecting TOM and he has yet to show his face. I’m still at 176 and I’ll accept that for the time being, but I want 174 for valentines day. Tomorrow I’m going to try to do double workouts. As opposed to not exercising ever. I admit it, I’m really bad for exercise. My calorie cutting alone has gotten me to this point. I’m thinking perhaps I should make a list of everything that has changed since I’ve started losing weight. And post it on my refrigerator.

So many nsv’s in this picture. Also a messy bedroom.

today:
weigh in: 176.6
lunch: LC something or other
snack: 60 calorie jello pudding with a spritz of low fat coolwhip
dinner: 1 cup of rice with some chicken (arroz con pollo)
snack: Nachos! (I finally finished off the bag of the baked tostitos AND the salsa so that’ll be enough of that)

I may be meeting an online friend tomorrow for the very first time. I’m a little nervous. I have nothing to wear. my wardrobe is now 98% casual and 2%  tank tops. I need to invest in some nice going out clothes.

  1. Exercise rocks my frigging socks. Yep, yep!

Love the shirt! I’ve always wanted one, though I’ve never been there. They’re so cute 70’s punk rocker to me.

You’re looking really awesome. I know you know that and all - hot mamas always do - but you’re just amazing! Congrats on the thighs!

  2. You’re doing great. Good job on getting this far without much exercise. But I encourage you to give it a try. Try it 5 times a week for 3 weeks and see if it makes a difference in how you feel about it. You might be surprised. I was. I never wanted to exercise now I can’t beleive I have gone 2 days without. It sucks, but sick is sick and exercising will only drain the energy I need to get better :(

    The thighs look great!

  3. You look adorable!
