cheer for chicken!
Holding steady at 215.2lbs this morning!
Gustav came nowhere near here. We’re not even expected to get rain.
I’ve been a grumpy gus all day long. Rob woke me in the middle of a very bad dream so that dream set the tone for my whole day. I’ve also felt like the tin man all day. Before dorothy discovered that Oil Can, anyway. “I remember I was cutting down this tree, when it started to rain…”
Rob promised me a massage tonight. I’m going to hold him to it, even if it is midnight! Someone at work joked to me that I should buy some KY massage oil but I laughed it off like “Oh no, not THAT kind of massage!” but when I got to thinking about it, it didn’t sound like a bad idea. By the time I got off shift though, the cases in the pharmacy were all locked up and I didn’t feel like hoofin’ it to walgreens to get some.
So, tomorrow night we have a dinner date with a friend of Roberts at Red Robin in houston. I’m excited because I’ve never been to red robin. I’ve been looking over the menu, looking at the turkey burgers and the veggie burger and whathaveyou, when it hit me….if I’m going to a gourmet burger joint? WHY DON’T I HAVE A BURGER? So I’m seriously thinking about that. I’ve played it pretty well the last couple of days (including today if I say so myself) so why not? Ladies? Opinions?
I need to go clothes shopping. Desperately. I’m drowning in my old clothes.
Today:
lunch: 1 serving ruffles lite potato chips with a turkey wrap. (220 calories all together)
snack: I was having a bad day so I had one of them brownie cookies at work. It was fresh and kept taunting me with its scent. As if it was saying “AAAAAAAAAAASHLEIGH!!! EEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAT MEEEEEEEE!!”
dinner: 3pk chicken strips and a side salad (with fat free dressing) from chickfila. They were having some sort of promotion today that involved free chicken strips. I’ll take it! After the day I had, I certainly didn’t want to cook, too!
I’ve been getting headaches a lot lately. Right in the front. Like a little lightning storm every day.

OMG, brownies talk to you, too?!
Keep up the good work!
I went to Red Robin last month and ate a salad (no crispy chicken, no dressing) as everyone else ate scrumptious looking burger concoctions. It sort filled me with inner turmoil and grief. If you have been doing well with eating and know that one burger won’t throw you off course, I’m all for indulgences everyone in a while!! Also beware, there is an onion ring tower that they are really pushy at recommending! Go for the famous burger, leave the other generic fried stuff alone is my take on it
