I am a 26 year old married mother of one toddler. I of course packed on some baby weight which I have yet to lose, but was overweight before then. I did Atkins maybe 2 years ago and was able to get down to my ideal weight of 160 lbs, size 8-10. When I started working as a nurse full time (NICU I love the preemies!) I went back to my old habits. It’s been really hard to shake this baby weight but I’ve gotten rid of about half of it. Right now I am staying at home for the most part, and I work part time maybe once a week, if that.

I am my own eating plan right now, eating good fats, whole grain bread, pasta, etc, eating lots of proteins, fruits and veggies. I also do Yourself!Fitness on the playstation 2 and love it to death. I also learned to become a runner using Cool Running’s Couch to 5k program. I highly recommend it. I have read many diet books, all of which helped me form my own way of eating. The most notable are You: on a diet, The Atkins diet, and Body for Life.
