General January 24th, 2008
I was looking back through my old weigh ins and see that I was at this weight back at the end of october. Actually, I was 195.8 then and I’m 195.0 now. So the last 3 months have really been wasted time and pussyfooting around. I promised myself that I wouldn’t fall into the trap of the holidays, but that’s just what I did and with weight gain. Oh well, nothing to do now, but learn from it.
I was going to do a progress picture just to get back into the habit of it, but I think it looks the same. Also, I am having a really bad hair day and would rather that not be caught on camera lol. So next month definitly!
I finally found some steel cut oats at a local health food store and am going to use the crockpot method that I saw girlygirlsebas post on her blog. I just hope the baby likes them. They weren’t as expensive as I thought they would be, either. I also found some local honey that I’m sure is going to be delicious. I love local honey, tastes so much better than the commercial kind. I slacked off on the running yesterday. I had a lot to do and DH is having guests over this weekend, so I want to clean to house. Also, the weather has just been yucky. But if I dont want to be totally embarrassed at the 10k,I need to get my butt in gear.

You’ll be fine for the 10k, you’ve been training so well! One bad/missed run is not going to ruin all your hard work. And, the past 3 months have not been wasted- you ended up maintaining your weight (actually, no, you even lost 0.8!) and got fitter by training for the 10k!

Hey girlie! You are doing great. One missed run won’t hurt you. You will still be able to do this. I know how you fell about the 3 missed months! i am right there with you. It is suppose to be warmer next week and I am hoping to get my arse in gear! I have a 5k to train for!! Next month we will both post pics!

Ive been doing the same thing since the middle of december. Its so hard to lose the weight when you are so busy with life and kids.
