Ok breakdown of the last couple of days:
I did the 2 miles on the 18th.
Sunday I tried to do my 5.5 miles and everything was working against me. For one thing I took an overly long nap. When I woke up it was 3:45. By the time I got ready it was 4:15. I decided to go to the hilly course because it was closer and would cut down on time. I ended up getting in almost 2 miles before it started getting dark. ThenĀ I said well, I’mjust going to run the rest of this as fast as I can. Big mistake. Apparently gobbling down a quick meal of beef stew and then going for a run is a bad idea, especially when you want to run “as fast as you can”. I threw up about 1 minute into my “speed running”. So, it was a bad run to say the least. I threw in the towl then. I think I did about 2.5 miles.
Luckily I have an extra week in my schedule so I will just repeat next sunday.
Weight today: 195.0
I did not calorie count yesterday, but I watched what I ate. Some days I just need a break from it. Also it helps me see how well I can do without it. But of course I am returning to it today.

Some runs go easy, and some go hard. I’m sorry that one was bad, but you really are doing so well. 2.5 miles is a great run.

I think that’s a really good way to get comfortable w your eating - counting calories sometimes but not every single day.
