Is he insane?!
General December 3rd, 2007Man runs marathons while pushing quadruplets
I can say with all honesty that is one thing I will never try. One, I don’t have quadruplets, two, that’s insane, and I am not insane.
I ran 2 miles today on the hilly course with ONE baby in his stroller. I got a reminder that I really need to watch where I’m running. I almost twisted my ankle on an pine cone that was in the road. I certainly dont want that again. Eating went well today, I stayed in my calorie range. I’m going to try to eat small amount of honey to sweeten things instead of splenda. I really want to get off of artificial sweetners period. We will see how it goes.
Honey by the way is pretty neat stuff.

Yikes, are those his kids? I really feel for his wife, because I bet most of his training runs he didn’t take the crew along, he left her alone w the kiddos and was out doing his own thing…
I gave up fake sugars and margarine and most other processed foods over the past few years. I think real foods taste better and they don’t scare me like the industrial foods industry does. I eat more stuff without sugar than I used to w the fake stuff, but when I want sweet I have the real stuff.
Honey is really cool, isn’t it? Here in France there are honey stores where you pick what kind of flowers your honey was made from… they have tastings and each tastes different - fun!

Your not the only one who has been slipping. What you said in your prior blog sounds exactly like what I have been saying. I think we all have been slipping. I think it’s this time of the year or something. I’m trying to hang on too! Do the best we can! We can do this!

“Over the shoulder boulder holder” was in a little song sang by Bette Midler in the movie Beaches.
Congratulations on your new bra. I completely understand your glee!! Keep up the good work!

Wow. Glad it was him and not me.
Girl, you do need to be careful when running. Dont wanna hurt that ankle again. I have to watch every step I take or Id end up spraining mine just while walking.

Wow, I see you’re training for a 10k! That’s amazing. You have come so far, good for you! And I agree about the marathon thing- the human body is not meant to work like that. Too much.
