Just burst into tears
General August 27th, 2007Over how sweet you ladies are! I would never in my life have thought this blog would be so important to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My injury feels a little better. I’ve still got it wrapped and am limping around on crutches, but the pain is definitely less. I’m still not tryig to put any pressure on it, I’m treating it like my new baby. I want it strong so I can run again. DH stayed up all last night trying to do some work (he works from home a lot) and I let him sleep in, trying my best to get the baby to follow me around. At one point, I even got a rolling chair and that’s how we got from room to room lol.
I hadn’t weighed myself in a couple of days, but did this morning. I was 203.2! that’s almost a pound loss and I bet it will be tomorrow. I really think it’s thanks to the Daily Plate. Yesterday I lowered my activity level on there to “sedentary” since I’m spending a lot more time sitting down and that lowered my calories as well. I don’t think I would’ve done that on my own.

I love the rolling chair thing. That is sweet of you not to make DH get up, with you injured and all. You are truly self-less! I am glad it is a little better! Hope it heals just like new soon!

The rolling chair– great idea
As crazy as it sounds, if you know someone who has one laying around or that you could borrow one from, get a walker. My SIL broke her leg this summer and the crutches were killing her pits. She borrowed a walker and done MUCH better with it. She actually used it the entire summer. That may make getting around a little easier.

Yeah that chair is a great idea - how awesome that you lowered your calories to match your activity level - that’s really thoughtful!
You go girl!
