4th of July breakdown

B: 2 pieces whole grain, double fiber toast, 2 eggs

S: fruit

L: baked chicken breast (in olive oil) w/ boiled mixed veggies (2 servings), cantaloupe

S: I decided to have a piece of oreo cream cake. big mistake, I got super sick last night. I actually started feeling not so great soon after I ate it

D:  Turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, with tomatoes, onions, small amount of spicy cajun mustard, 1 slice of 2 percent cheese

I did really well on the water intake yesterday and I did 1 hour of yourself fitness… to make up for the cake. Now that I think about it, I probably could do 1 hour everyday. I am sure that would speed up my weight loss. But sometimes finding the time is hard. Anyway, that’s my breakdown for the fourth. DH grilled 2 steaks for himself and wanted to grill hamburgers, but I said No because I knew that I would just end up eating hamburgers for the rest of the week and he refuses to use lean meat. He was disappointed, but agreed. He also fussed at me about the cake, which I did not like at all. I planned for this, drank lots of water and did extra excercise, and even though it made me sick, it was my decision and I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight already. I could see him fussing if he ate healthy, but if it weren’t for me cooking healthy foods around here, he would be eating nothing but pop tarts and papa john’s. Anyway, I didn’t mean to turn that into a rant, but I don’t see why he has to rain on my parade. He doesn’t understand that deprivation doesn’t work with me and that I need to learn to eat bad foods in moderation. It’s not an everday thing and never will be. But I’d like to have a piece of cake on my birthday or something without him giving me grief over it.
