I lost 2 pounds! It’s been so long since I lost anything. I am hoping this is right because my scale has been acting a little funny. When I can I’m going to get a really nice one, preferably a tanita
I know I have a lot of bad habits that I really want to correct.
1. When I nurse the baby (and he can eat for a long time ) I tend to bring a snack and eat and eat and eat. This has got to stop. So from now on, no eating while I nurse, unless it’s been a long time since I ate and just couldn’t squeeze it in.
2. My posture is horrible! I am not lacking in the boob department, so I have a little extra weight going on up there, but that’s not excuse. As I sit typing this, I have to make myself sit up repeatedly and that’s not acceptable.
Sooooo….I will work on this week (and long term of course) sitting up straight and not eating while nursing.

L: tuna wrap w/fruit (lots of veggies on the wrap)

I had some green tea today as well. I did my Y!F workout. I had to literally drag myself to the TV to do it, today was a rough day.
Well, I suck, I totally missed my workout last night. DH wanted to watch a movie when he got home and we did and then DS didn’t go to sleep until 11:30 and by then I was too tired. I did get up first thing this morning and do my workout. I feel so good, I might even take the kiddo for a walk.
B: eggs and 1 slice of toast

L: Left over Hearty Rice

D: Roast beef sandwhich w/ a salad (vinegar dressing)
It’s been a pretty good day in the eating department today.
B: raisin bran w/2 % milk
S: none
L: turkey sub w lots of veggies
S: 1/2 roast beef sandwich w/tomato (on double fiber bread from Nature’s Own…I love this bread…it has 5 grams of fiber per slice!)
D: Hearty Rice….A new recipe I found. Pretty much has rice, lean ground beef, onions, corn, tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup and chili powder among other things
Workout will either be a couple of hours of DDR w/ DH or if he isn’t up to it, I will do 45 minutes of cardio w/ Yourself!Fitness.
I always thought these were really neat, so I thought I would do one of myself to motivate me. I’m not even sure I would be that skinny at my goal weight of 160, but here’s hoping ![]()

Welcome to my blog, if you are choosing to read it. I am not promising anything super glamorous or even mildly amusing, but I hope if you ARE reading it that you leave lots of comments and encouragement. I am so happy I’ve found 3fatchicks.com. It seems like a great site. Sooooo….8 months after having a baby and I still have not gotten back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Bleh! 12 more pounds to go and then a lot more from there. Right now my mini-goal is to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I bought Yourself!Fitness a few weeks ago for the PS2 and absolutely love it. I’ve been pretty good with my workouts, doing the step exercises and lifting weights. I can definitly tell a difference in my muscle tone, so I’m happy for that. Of course, carrying around a 18 pound infant is bound to get anyone into a little shape
Small accomplishment today, I felt a really big hunger craving and instead of eating, I got a cup of tea and that worked really well to squelch the craving. Well, nothing much to put on here today. This is my very first blog entry, so I dont want to overdo it. I’m going to take the tot walking today in the park and I think I will let that be my exercise since I’ve been doing quite a lot lately.
Goals for this week:
Some form of excercise everyday
No eating out of boredom, emotions, etc
More veggies!
