Not much to report today.  It’s chilly, but at least sunny today.  Looking forward to the next few days because they are supposed to be sunny and milder.

Yesterday dragged for me at work.  Not because I didn’t have anything to do, but nothing really urgent.  Our busy season is winding down, so that’s good because the boss won’t be so hyper, and it’s a good opportunity to catch up on things.

Food was a bit over my calorie range, but not by much.  Today I brought my snacks, but not lunch.  I’ll eat out.  Not sure where or what.  I didn’t exercise last night.  I’ve just been so tired at the end of the day the past week or so.  I think maybe I need to eat more calories earlier in the day or something?  What I really need to do is get back to exercising.  Really my only physical activity has been walking during my commute, which is over a two miles a day, but less than I want.  I think exercise boosts energy.

I find I’m looking forward to when the boss has her time off work, and to some time off of my own.  Neither are for a few weeks yet, so I might schedule a vacation day in the next couple weeks.  I always like to carry over a few vacation days into the next year because I’ve gotten so accustomed to doing that, but I’m going to try and limit it to 2 this year.  The new admin inquired about our 2010 work holidays, so I printed them off for myself as well and saw that we get Presidents day for a holiday next year.  Sometimes we don’t get it (usually depends on how the other holidays line up), so that will be nice because otherwise there’s a big gap between New Year’s Day and Memorial Day.

Okay, I’m just rambling now, so I’ll post this.

Could be- but I don’t know your weight or calorie range so it’s hard to say.

I find that a quick snack of nuts or cheese perks me up for that afternoon coma I usually get.

Take your days! They are there for that- I just realized I have over 50 vacation hours and I’ve only been here a year- I already asked my boss for next Friday off and then realized we also have next wednesday off- so I’m probably going to ask for the thursday off also to have a nice long weekend :D

I’m sure though when my mom comes to town in a few weeks I’ll be taking off some extra time so I’ll use up my days :D

‘Course exercise gives you energy. You don’t think I am just sometiems dead tired when I go tot he gym> A lot of the times I want to just go home and plop on the sofa. But I don’t because I’ve made the decision to make exercise a part of my routine, just like going to work, brushing my teeth.. etc

Ooo…another vacation day! Gotta love them.

I think exercising does boost energy too. I keep trying to get out to walk and then get into routine, but to no avail. Walks are not that hard, what’s my deal? LOL

Thanks for the compliment on the doll. I thought about adding lips last night as I was falling asleep.Haha…

I should have figured you were set up with sewing books, since it’s a hobby of yours also! Haha… I guess I love my Readers Digest book. That’s what we had to get for school. That’s where I go to remind myself how to hand-sew.

I’m excited for your zipper replacement endeavor!
I have only used the blue denim thread for my zippers because I didn’t shop for the other stuff. However, when I was last at the fabric store, I was browsing the Coats & Clark threads and found Denim Gold thread–thick like on our ready-to-wear industry jeans. It’s only two spots on that tower they display threads on. Walmart doesn’t carry it–my location at any rate. I bet you could find some, if you wanted it badly enough. :)
