Ho hum

The photo of the fat and muscle was just a test to see if I could successfully post a photo.  I think I originally saw this photo in the journals and decided to save it.  No I don’t have it posted on my fridge, but maybe I should! :lol:

 

Yesterday at work was alright.  I feel like I’m running behind and my desk is horrifying, but I’m finishing up a couple larger projects and will hopefully be able to address my messy desk this week.

 

No workout last night.  Dinner was a turkey blt sandwich at Culver’s.  I had some of bf’s fries and a bite of his cole slaw.  Bf had the walleye dinner and not having looked at the menu board (just the photo), he was surprised that it was $10.99 for that meal - and it didn’t include the beverage.  Sheesh!  Looking forward to the warm weather when we can just slap some fish on the grill for a “fast food” dinner. 

 

I’ve determined what’s causing irritation on the outer part of my arm pits.  It’s my exercises.  I’m wearing regular old cotton knit t-shirts to the gym and I think the seams or the fabric might be rubbing when I do certain exercises.  I will switch to my other workout tops, which are a smoother synthetic fabric and see if that helps.  I was originally thinking my deodorant was causing the problem, but was wrong, since it wasn’t irritating my entire underarm.  I guess I was suspicious because the last bottle I bought looks different, but the label claims the formula hadn’t changed.  However, it seems more watery than before, and it doesn’t seem quite as effective as before.  Maybe I need to switch brands.  Darn.

 

No movie tonight, our leader is out of town.  I will go to the gym tonight.

 

I’m reading what I thought would be a fluffy romance novel (before I start the book for April’s book club).  However, in this book the woman does rescue and foster care for dogs and one of the subplots is about the city banning specific breed dogs.  I haven’t gotten very far yet and the waterworks have started! 

 

Lunch today is a pbj sandwich.  I have two apples and some baby carrots for snacks.  Not much else to report so I’ll get this posted.

    well…it still might be the deodorant…its weird, you can use something for ages, and then our bodies change and wham! you can’t use it anymore because you have a reaction. Weird.

    the book sounds good. :)

    I LIKE Culver’s! Hard place to make very good choices though.
    I love that pic of fat vs. muscle. One of the trainers brought in the actual plastic demo pieces like the ones in the pic. Even more impressive in person. I guess that’s how I only lost 20 lbs but 4 inches off my waist alone!

    Ewww–glad I’ve got me some muscles! Hmmm–I agree with Rene; it could be something you are using or even detergent–that happens to me all the time with detergent.

    Sad to say that most of my body is the yellow stuff. Hrrmph.
