Hmmm, yep, sometimes when we don't have the right tools it can force us to be a bit more creative. I've eaten a lot of yogurt with forks (and the occasional finger, ewww).

You guys are too much! Okay, now I don't feel like such a dork about it. Everyone always uses all the spoons and forks and leaves the knives. I stopped buying the multi-pack and started only buying a box of spoons and a box of forks, but it seems like I never have BOTH at the same time. I remember one time I ate soup with something not intended to be an eating utensil, and now I can't remember what ... I did write about it here though. OH! I think I ate a lean cuisine with a knife too, lol. HUGS@!

On rare occasion, I've used my pen to stir my mug of tea. In spite of co-workers teasing me, I actually wash and save some plastic utensils so I don't have to hunt around for them when needed.

tell me about it! at work we have more knives than spoons or forks. i think we've all resorted to last-minute devices in that sense. :)

When I worked, I was notorious for being able to eat salads with plastic knives--how it was that the forks and spoons always disappeared but not the knives was something I never figured out.
