Sometimes it happens. I had two dear friends from high school days.. about 14 years ago one drifted away and about 3 years the other did. Our lives have gone in different directions and it is just very strained when we are together now. Sometiems it makes me sad, but most of the time I am not really bothered because my life is pretty full. Guess that means it was time to mvoe on, if it doesn't bother me... In time if it still bothers you, ya may want to look into this again and restrt things.. but as a different sort of friendship. Sorry. Sometimes it happens. If the conversation doesn't have to do with her then she doesn't want to hear about it - ESPECIALLY if it involves somebody else being happy. If it is drama then she'll listen. You're right.
