I just caught up the past 12 days too! You still sound a little rocked, shaky, whatever you want to call it - not yourself. Hurray for getting XH off the mortgage AND saving money. Even if the savings disappears on Tues, you are still further ahead than you would have been. I know what you mean about the kids too - but they probably won’t realize how good they had it until they’re out on their own. Such is life. Happy memorial day!

Yay for shedding the dead weight off the mortgage. I read the last several posts (since I have been MIA, I’m trying to catch up!) and sure hope you are feeling better. I am a work aholic…I feel guilty if I am “caught” relaxing…! Stupid.

I had DH rip out the grass last weekend and I’m hoping to lay down some fresh sod sometime this weekend. It’s not a terribly large area so should be done in no time. Scratch that…DH’s doing it…hmm…should take forever and a day. :p

YAY for the mortgage getting done. I had not so much luck switching after my current bank suddenly switched my penalty from $3,244 to $10K. Fine, we’ll see who’s who when it’s time to renew. >:(

YAY on the mortgage. what a relief to have that pinhead off of it!

yes the cell wasn’t that great of an ending. but didn’t it make you look at cell phones differently? When i see people talking on them and driving stupidly, I just figure they’ve been possesed by whatever go people in the book.
