Okay not really, but for my first kickboxing class last night, I did really great! I am proud of myself. The instructor came to talk to me before class. He told me to take it slow, learn the moves, take breaks when I needed, stop for water, etc. etc. It also was the LAST session of the current routine they are doing (for the last three months!) and a new routine starts Tuesday … so I said oh great, my FIRST class and everyone here has been doing it for three months. At the END of the class he came back up to me and told me I did great and kept up really well. It was a LOT of fun and I couple times I may have used the wrong arm to punch, etc. lol but for the most part I was right on track. (One annoying thing: there was a group of teenagers in this class who everytime the instructor gave us a minute for water, they ran and all checked their cell phones, lol) And I felt silly for worrying after watching some of the other people in the class. The bad news is there are NO classes at my gym Sat or Sun!! And I need to get in my workouts since I will be away Mon - Wed. They are doing some step trainer certification thing. However, I can go over to the other gym - my membership includes two. That one is actually a little bigger, but that intimidates me even more. I just wanted to do a class on Saturday because Sunday will be another weights/trainer session. So, 10:30 tomorrow there is a “Group Groove” class which sounds like fun but … I don’t know. Again, with the not believing in myself, ugh! It’s dancing though, and I am far from the world’s greatest dancer.
Anyway, food and exercise was great yesterday. I made the Grilled Chicken with Pineapple Mango Salsa for dinner. The boys thought the chicken was okay, and didn’t like fruit salsa with their meat. DD loved everything (shocker, lol) and I thought it was really good. I doubled up on the sauce and surprisingly, the boys didn’t even like that. It is very good though - they are just picky.
Today’s Edibles
B: Eggbeaters on thomas mg english, coffee, water
L: Leftover grilled chicken and peas from last night
D: Out, date (yikes)
Exercise rest day. My shoulders are killing me, in a really great way!
Will try and get in 48 - 64 ounces of water during the day (before the date)
So, it is supposed to be absolutely beautiful here today - 70 and sunny. For the date, Icbinb suggested this restaurant that overlooks the hudson river with an open deck. I’ve been there tons actually … in the summer it is our fave place to do lunch (boss and coworkers) just to sit outside, plus it is also sort of a night time hot spot. He’s never been there. Now I don’t know what to wear again. Evening, outdoors, nice spring weather. Stomach just turned. This never gets easier … and in fact, it gets WORSE. Everytime a date doesn’t work out - even if you are the one who thinks he is a creep - it takes a little chunk out of your self confidence and makes the next one more difficult. Sigh. I just have to remember that even if this doesn’t evolve into anything, I am not losing anything by taking a shot at it.
Copier people are coming to do a training at 10 am which I don’t want to do. I already know how to use the thing, it’s been here a week. She said it would take an hour, I told her I only had half an hour to spare.
Okay, let me go get a couple things done before the reps get here. Will check back in later. Hugs!
Edited to Add the Daily Ex-Hole Digest:
Got papers today, he is taking ME to court to reduce his child support payments. Ya, the jerk who wanted to reconcile last month, what a coincidence, huh? The jerk who owes me $12k in back support and hasn’t paid a cent towards the $30k of childcare and education expenses that I had for his children, even though it is in the court order that he has to pay his percentage. Bring it on, loser.
Sigh … well, happy vacation to us!

I swear you are such a goofball.. worry about this and that and then coming back, having a great time and then yet again, worrying about something else. Is worrying your favorite passtime? What would you do if you didn’t worry?
I hope it goes well with Butter Boy. Wear a nice spring dress. show your legs! Bring a cardigan if it gets chilly. And relax. Any guy would be lucky to go out with you!

The “experts” say it takes something like 17 first dates to find someone to actually have a relationship with (on average) - I would remind myself of that before dates and it would calm me down - it was just another notch on the way to 17! And also, remember this is supposed to be FUN! You can enjoy yourself
