Today started off not that great … let’s see.  I woke up chilly - furnace was blowing cool air again.  I have to shut down the emergency power switch and mess with the wires (yeah, that’s really safe!) and then eventually it warms up again.  My cell phone is broken, the inside pc that you plug the charger into literally fell out.  This is because I dropped it the other night running on the paved rail trail - ouch! - and at first it seemed fine, but now I see it is slowly coming apart.  Great.  Have to take that in and see what the damage is - financially speaking.  And my lawn mower quite on me 4 times last night - once, it even backfired as I was starting it up and this orange-flame spark thing flew out.  That was pretty scary!  But I kept mowing because I couldn’t leave my yard half cut.  $ $ $ is what it all boils down to, sigh.

Last night trainer session was good.  I have this chart and last session he had added a couple pounds here and there on some exercises, and left some the same weight.  I increased a couple for next time too, so I think I will be back Sunday for more.  Tonight is kickboxing.  Again, I am a little nervous.  What if I fall and make a fool of myself?  I am just hoping that the back corner of the room is available when I get there!

As I mentioned above, when I got home at 7 last night, I managed to cut the grass, which was great to get that done.  Saturday I just need to do the edging, and at least I should be good until next weekend for the lawn work.  My boss just informed me I should have had the blade sharpened once - more like twice - per season.  So let’s see, I have had this … ummm … this is the 5th season now.  And how many times have I had it sharpened?  Or tuned up or oil changed?  Jeez, it’s amazing the thing still runs.  I’ve never done any of that!  And THIS is where it sucks to not have a man around. 

Speaking of that, the Daily ex-hole Digest: he calls me to tell me that because he needs to move and all apartments are running credit checks and giving him a problem because of the mortgage, that we financially need eachother.  (See, he is not on the deed as I own the house, but he is still on the mortgage because I never refinanced on my own as it will be very difficult to do so)  Ha!  I told him a$$hole, I’d rather lose my house. :-) 

(Not that I’d EVER want that, but I did say that.  You get the point)

There was a lot more to that conversation, but I will spare you his ass-holeness.  Excuse the language.

Now, onto other man updates.  MBFF said Friday night is better for her to babysit so now I no longer have a breakfast date, but thank you for the input!  Kim, I thought the casual skirt would have been an adorable idea.  Anyway, I don’t know where we are going yet.  We are making the definite plans today.  He is really, really sweet.  Sort of scares me a bit, lol.

Thursday Food

B: 2 blueberry nutrigrain waffles, 4 sliced strawberries, light syrup, coffee

L: Leftover angel hair pasta w/broccoli & shrimp

D: Grilled chicken w/pineapple mango salsa, sugar snap peas, maybe rice? unsure of side

Snacks: Banana or apple or something

Water: 64 oz. today … I saw everyone going to kickboxing with ginormous water bottles, so I figure I will have to get my water in today! 

OH!  Almost forgot!  I finally remembered to weigh in and I was 149.0.  Down a pound from … what?  3 weeks ago? lol  But, last week I snuck a peek during TOM and it was - GASP - 153!  So I will certainly take 149.  If I can drop a bit more over the next few days, I would be thrilled to come home from mini-vaca next week still under 150.  That is my goal.  Then the work begins again.  As crazy as this sounds - and it is crazy, because I have only been to the gym 4 times so far, lol - I feel leaner.  I can’t explain it.  It’s a great feeling though!

Well, I am only here another 90 minutes (kids have a half day today) so let me get the MUST DOs out of the way and get my stuff together for home this afternoon.  Will be back to comment!
