Today is a good day. Up early, kids were up before I even and everyone dressed and on the bus without a hassle. Came into the office a few minutes early where I spruced up and opened the windows since it is surprisingly mild out this morning. My boss brought me coffee for Admin Prof Day … even though I am not a secretary, I guess since it changed it covers all Administrative Professionals now, and HR falls under that? Well, whatever, it means a free lunch! :) So he is taking me (with two other managers) to one of my fave restaurants where I will indulge in my absolute favorite endive salad. I’m afraid of what the stats are on that … it isn’t a chain and doesn’t have any published nutritional values. Pecans and Gorgonzola … hmmmm. But it is actually a side salad, so I will just get that and a cup of soup.
Food was good yesterday, as was the Centergy class. I LOVED centergy! It is a fusion of yoga and pilates, much faster moving than Saturday’s yoga class and it really got my heart rate up. Plus she picked good music, where as the other yoga was silent except for when we were ohming to weird chanting music. :) Which I didn’t mind either. Anyway, the core segment nearly killed me, but here I am! Tonight is meeting with the trainer for the second session on the weight machines.
So, XH (%$)%*@)#%@%) bailed on me again this weekend. Has to work a different shift Sunday and blah blah blah whatever. Since I have rescheduled my date with ICBINB (Thanks Linda!) three times, luckily I retained backup childcare with MBFF in case this happened again. So, Icbinb and I were both talking about how much we liked breakfast (lmao, Of COURSE it was about food!) and he suggested a breakfast date for the first time, which I thought was cute. So, what the heck does one wear to a BREAKFAST date? Help!
And I still need to confirm with MBFF that morning is okay instead … it may not be, then once again, I just give up. I have several convents near me that I should consider joining.
I think tomorrow night I am going to try the Group Kick class. It’s a toss up between that or Group Cycle (their version of spinning). OR maybe I should give the cardio cinema a try? It looks cool, a dark theatre and real movie screen with elliptical or treadmill, etc. but I am afraid of killing myself in the dark!

Water: 48 ounces plus
Yesterday one of my company’s employees in the HQ confided in me that she is actively looking and interviewing and it makes me so sad because she is just awesome. She is the benefits administrator so I work closely with her, and she is the most capable one we have ever had in the 9.5 years I’ve been here. I just adore her. She has taught me so much, I will be sad to see her go. And she’s only been with us a year! But I understand that she isn’t crazy about the office politics that go on here, and I get that, completely! Sigh.
Okay, guess I better publish and move on while I still have a job! :) Have a fabulous day chicks!

that cinema class sounds neat! hey, if you hurt yourself, no one will be able to see. lol.
i’ve never been on a breakfast date but you could probably wear some nice tight jeans and a crisp t-shirt so you’re all fresh and lovely first thing in the morning.

well, lets just hope he doesn’t ASK for ICBINB at the breakfast!! how would you be able to keep from laughing your ass off?? TOO funny!!!!!!!!!! agree with Diane on the attire.
I would say ixnay to the spinning..but that is just me. Just not my thing…you may enjoy it. The cinema thing sounds really cool though. They probably don’t serve popcorn though…:)

Well as long as you don’t wear your nightie to breakfast, i think you are safe. Enjoy the date with Butter Boy.
I am glad to hear you are enjoying the gym. .. the classes all sound neat. Is your trainer good? Is he making you hurt?
If not, then you need a new one.

Kelly, a weaker upper body is completely normal for women. I am that way too and it frustrates me. I told my trainer that by this time I had expected to be able to clean and jerk 100 pounds.. he thought that was hysterical! Our lower body are much stronger than upper.. I mean I can do 400+ pounds on some lower body exercises, but I range from 12-50 on the upper body. Men have the upper body strength.. we get the lower body strength! You can improve but don’t expect to lift as much as man..

Happy APD to you too! Bummer about your friend/co-worker, but such is life. If it’s nice the morning of the breaky, I might be tempted to wear a casual skirt and T or twinset instead of jeans - more springy. But I look so awful in jeans they are never my first choice. I don’t think you have that problem as much.
I am def leaning towards the allergy theory with DD, thanks for your input. If it were sinus or upper respiratory I would expect her to act sicker and have a fever. As it is, the only thing that seems to bother her is DH and I constantly wiping her nose!
I was wondering the other day what kind of XH the DH would make and I’d bet a million that he’d be just like your XH - UGH. At least you don’t ever have to wonder why you split! LOL.
