Happy Monday! One week until my mini-vacation!
Today I had to really pull myself out of bed … SORE! And I hit snooze three times and each time I fell deeply back to sleep and actually had mini-dreams in between. Lol! Weird. Must have been exhausted.
Today is an exercise day off, but if the weather holds up I may run the mower over the grass quickly, I won’t have the opportunity to do that again until the weekend. I need to stop for gas for it though.
Today’s Eats
B: MG Rice Krispies, sliced strawberries, 1% milk, coffee
L: LC Chicken Panini
D: Chicken Tamale Casserole
Snacks: Have with me a banana, apple, 100 cal. almonds, pineapple cup … will choose from these only
Oh! I was super excited to find these at Target. 100 calorie packs of the Emerald Cocoa Roasted almonds. And, $2.59 for a box of 7 which I thought was a great price for almonds! So I bought two boxes. It is very easy to gobble up too many almonds … they are good for you, but too many is not a good thing. They are a little sweet, so next time I might get the regular.
I am going to officially WI tomorrow BUT I snuck a peek this morning and it wasn’t pretty. 6 days of eating on plan, and all the exercise I’ve been doing, for this? lol … it is a couple pounds less than last weeks TOM weight which was horrid, but the weight I saw today was still BAD. However, I am not freaking out because I know I am doing the right things.
Off to publish and comment!

I adore almonds, but you are right. it is so easy to eat a mountain of them! I get really disappointed in how many items are in those 100 calorie packs. Why can’t I eat a mountain for only 100 calories? Not fair!!

Sounds like the pool for you and the kids might be worth the price of the gym by itself! You are so right - not freaking because you KNOW you are doing the right things. You know as well as any of us that sometimes the number on the scale lags behind our efforts!

Ooooh, I love those almonds. They only look like they’re chocolate covered. LOL. Do they really have a lot of sugar because they don’t taste like they do?
