Until a new Desperate Housewives! :D So I need to make this quick. I have three loads of laundry on my bed awaiting my arrival for folding also, lol.
My session this morning was fine. 10 minute warm up on the elliptical, then he helped me try each of the ten machines on the circuit. There are more but I have to learn these first. I have another appt. on Wednesday. :) It was interesting. I am a little sore - some from yoga yesterday, I am sure I will feel this more tomorrow. I also went back with the kids and played around in the pool for an hour and a half. Then food shopping, came home and mopped all the floors, put in roast chicken, made the carrot souffle. Did MORE yardwork. Mower was out of gas, oh darn, couldn’t mow. :) The carrot souffle was okay. Both DS’s didn’t care for it. DD said she liked it but didn’t ask for seconds, lol, and that means she didn’t like it all that much. It’s interesting, very sweet!
Okay, show is on … work tomorrow!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend. It could be the texture–carrot souffle sounds interesting, but carrot risotto sounds divine! You’ll figure out the gym soon enough; do make sure you have proper form and ask the trainer what his credentials are. Some of the gyms (mine included) have both CERTIFIED trainers (that you pay for) and hourly ‘trainers’ who have no background or training and who are free, will show you a machine and give you advice, but maybe not good advice; inform yourself–SHAPE has a great book, very detailed, that you can pick up for $12 tops that shows the various machines and gives workouts (it also has yoga stuff, running, etc. and recipes) and then check out some websites too. As for yoga, take your time. It takes years to master some of those positions and some (like the locust) you may never master. I did yoga regularly for years and if any teacher tries to force you to do something you can’t do, you need to find another teacher.
