I love the little green footprints and gold coins–my mom always did those kinds of things for us when we were little and I have awesome memories of it all!
Alright, Kelly, the hike sounds divine and you should go, but DO NOT go alone. I cannot tell you how many people here lose their lives because they go off alone on hikes. Heck, even in my own neighborhood I have the threat of mountain lions. Anyhow, find a partner and enjoy!

we all could use a little leprechaun visiting and leaving gold behind. Sometimes a little alone time is good. Make it picture taking day. I love taking pictures of nature.

Glad to know somebody else is as crazy about St. P Day as my family was. Dad did become more subtle in later years and just coloured the water in the toilet tank so the green appeared when we flushed!

I agree with LT - a weekend with no plans and no obligations and solitude is sometime to be treasured. Hiking sounds terrific, but then so does complete silence in the house and a chick flick extravaganza. I’m envious.

I never thought to do it with the kids at home. I always did it with the kids at school. We would do it for a week in advance, the leprechaun would come everyday and make messes and leave taunting notes. They would be CRAZY trying to catch the leprechaun by St. Patty’s Day! Sounds like great fun!

I wish I had a little short person visit my house. I’d ask them to clean my floors since they are down there anyway.

Eggplant pasta and sausage sounds nummy. Glad it came out well.

Not having anything planned is the absolute best!! I love not having plans.. I can whatever I want!

Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. A nice hike sounds fun!! but muddy…LOL
