Boot Camp tonight=275 minutes of exercise for the week…put me in the drawing! I’ve been doing protein shakes after workouts and they really fill me up and I hope they are helping to build muscle too!
Yesterday, I got on the scale and I was up a pound and a half, so I tried to really watch what I was eating for most of the day (until I went out with the girls and had a few drinks!) and I did a good hour long workout. 30 minutes of cardio on the stair stepper, then the other half hour was ab circle and other ab exercises, arms, dips, bumps, bra fat exercise, and 20-15 series of push ups. I am at 200 minutes total for the week for the challenge and will be going to boot camp tomorrow to finish off the rest of the challenge!
I went and tried on size 6 pants today and bought 2 pairs! Yea! Played volleyball tonight for an hour (140 min. total for challenge)
Just learned of the challenge for the week-250 minutes of exercise, starting yesterday. I had 5 minutes yesterday on the ab circle, then 75 minutes tonight at boot camp. [80 minutes total, so far] This one might be doable!
and Saturday…I forgot to post my workout on Saturday. I did cardio on the stairstepper, my ab circle machine, and some dips and bumps and stuff like that. Today I cleaned up the house from having a birthday party here for my son yesterday and I feel like that was a workout in itself, but I did ab circle cardio, 20-15 series push ups, and some leg and butt stuff. I think I am down about 2 pounds since I quit blogging food, so I think my food is staying consistant. I got a ton of compliments on how fit I look from family and friends at my son’s party who I hadn’t seen in 3 months or so, so I got to say that I have lost almost 20 pounds since July! Yea!
As of this morning, I was down one more pound. Yea! Didn’t workout for two days, except for a little on the ab circle on Tuesday. Tonight I did more ab circle, then played volleyball for an hour (won all three games!). My eating has been pretty good, except the dinner at Leatherby’s for Spencer’s birthday yesterday, but I had a salad, took half of the small pizza home (it is still in the fridge), and just had a small milkshake instead of the large I used to get when we would go there! Still on track!
I’m doing pretty well with the plan to just keep on track without logging everything I eat. I feel like I have down how much to eat and I stop well before I am full. Portion control has worked really well for me. It took a while to reprogram the “I have to eat until I am full” thing, but I realized you only have to eat enough to get you through a few hours until the next time you eat.
I worked out this afternoon: 20 min. stair stepper, 10. min. ab circle, arms, about 40 push ups
I know…I’ve had a busy few days and fell of the food blogging wagon, but I have still been eating pretty well and exercising. In this few days that I haven’t been blogging, I thought about it, and the blogging doesn’t make me eat better or anything. I am a pretty disciplined person and in the 16 weeks I have been logging my food, I have gotten in a pretty good routine of eating healthy and at the right intervals during the day, so I think I will just log my exercise and see how that goes. I have lost 17 pounds since we started boot camp in July and got lower than my goal weight, so I am happy. If I lose a few more pounds, that would be great, but I feel like I am probably about to a maintaining point.
Here is my exercise for this last week (where I left of from blogging): Wednesday, boot camp; Thursday, volleyball; Friday, none; Saturday, 20 min. stairstepper, 10 min. ab circle, arms, dips, bumps, push ups (20-15 series)
I am at about 2 hours and 15 minutes of cardio since Monday for the challenge (135 minutes), so I don’t know if I am going to make the 200 minutes or not. I can’t make Monday boot camp and I heard Wednesday boot camp is cancelled for a meeting most of you have, but I probably wouldn’t have made that one anyway since Wednesday is my son’s birthday, so see you all the following week.
