I’m hoping to turn in to something really pretty!

I am doing pretty well today!  It has been a bit of a stressful day, the amount of work involved in 3rd year at university is starting to hit me, along with the importance of doing well.  I would strive to do well anyway, but this isn’t like school and that’s what starting to hit me.  At school if you mess up you can do it again, here, if I mess up just one assignment, I could potentially ruin my final grade.  Every single thing that I do counts!  But I think it’s a healthy stress right now; it’s keeping me on my toes and encouraging me to strive to do even better, to study, to learn, to succeed.

Usually I’d already be resorting to binging or eating as a way of relieving stress.  I did have some chocolate today, I do admit that!  However, for my tea I had two sausauges with a cumberland sauce, two mini yorkshire puddings and two potato croquettes.  That left a lot on my plate!  I left a croquette and two sausages.  Ok that doesn’t sound like a lot, but it looked like a lot and before I would have just eaten because it was there.  But I didn’t!  I stopped when I was full, I’m proud of myself :)  And that’s all I’ve eaten today - my tea and that chocolate earlier.  I’m not trying to not eat, I want to make that clear, I just haven’t been hungry.  I’ve been buzzing about my coursework, enthusiasm and doing stuff in the house just keeping busy.

I am so excited about going on holiday next year!  We just booked it!  Will and I are going with my mum and dad, and the house we are staying in looks like a mansion.  It has 4 double bedroom, a games room with pool tables, TV and DVD player with a library of books and DVD’s, a large pool, outside barbeque terrace - loads!  It looksbeautiful!  And you get all that for £600 per week.  We had been looking at going to Italy but a lot of the houses cost £1500- £2000 per week so France is so much cheaper, and I really loved it there, so did Will.  My aunt and uncle might come too which would be cool because they’re good fun.  I think we’re probably going to be driving down rather than flying.  It’s a 14 hour drive from my parents’ which is a long time, but flights would be about £250 each so we’re saving a lot of money.

And here the best part comes in!  Will and my parents have agreed that if I reach my goal we can put that flight money (the full £500) to get a brand new wardrobe of some classic, stylish items and shoes and accessories as my reward.  OH YEH BABY!!!!  Sooooooooo excited :D
