I’m hoping to turn in to something really pretty!

Ok, if I haven’t explained this very well before here goes:

As you will probably know if you’ve read any posts I’ve injured muscles in my legs.  My DR said just leave it, nothing we can do.  I was a bit unhappy with this answer.  So I spoke to my uncle who is a psych doctor - obviously with medical training too!  He reckons it is shin splints, and because I’m experiencing pain from work I am not to do any impact exercise because it will aggravate the injury further.  So, switching to non-impact.  Once I stop having pain at work I can go and try running again.  If it hurts again I must stop running, and will not be able to do the 5K that way.  So I am thinking if I can’t do it running, I might do it swimming instead.

I’m also considering getting a Wii Fit.  I used it for two weeks when I stayed at my parent’s in summer, and lost 4lbs in that time.  I liked the yoga and the set up too.  Any one used it got any thoughts?  I will have to wait till I am in a more financially secure sitaution but it might help.  I like the fortnightly targets as well.  You can’t really avoid exercise too much when it’s right in your living room, can you?  I might think about it.

I haven’t been weighing myself really, since last time.  I don’t think I’d like what I’d see!  Maybe I’ll weigh myself midweek and see what happens.
