I’m hoping to turn in to something really pretty!

First thing’s first, oh my god Rach thank you so much!  You have totally saved my brain from going mental you were so right!

Now, second, I’m going to get something off my chest.  I am getting sorely p*ssed off with my dear other half.  Today he worked 6am - 9am again.  He came home, played his Xbox 360 for a few hours, then the PC.  Ok, no biggie, that’s fine.  We went to the Council office, sorted out our tax, I bought hair stuff.  Also good.  So wherein lies the problem?  We made a deal that when I went to the gym at 6.00pm, he would go for a sleep and I’d wake him when I got back.  I got back at 7.30pm, he’d been asleep, I tried to wake him up.  He has 3 days worth of dishes to do (yes, three), tea to make, and was going to help me with my hair.  It’s 9.25pm and I’ve been trying to wake him up every 20 minutes and every time I am ignored.  So I decided I’d waited long enough and would make tea myself.  His goes cold?  Shame… should have gotten up.  Means he has an extra meal’s worth of dishes to do, meaning in total he has all the pots we own, all the plates we own, a George Foreman to clean, surfaces and kitchen hob?  Shame… should have done it before playing the Xbox, or gotten up and done something about it.  Childish on my part perhaps, but I am fed up of bailing him out of chores because he left it so long they all pile up and overwhelm him.  No more.  He can take responsibility for his own actions.  He doesn’t like it, there’s the door.

Now, that’s over let’s put a pin in it and move on.  I had a good breakfast today, a tomato soup for lunch and then headed off to JJB (sports store) for my new running shoes.  Got them, they’re so comfy!  And they were reduced by £30!  Score!  Also got shorts, running socks and a new water bottle.

I got 55minutes on the treadmill, and did 4.92km in that time, which is a new record for me!  I was pleased :D  I didn’t move on to the free weights today, I wanted to get home and get my hair done etc., doing a strand test.  Oh yeh - I’ve got to tell you about that!  A year ago I dyed my hair really dark red, loved it at the time but decided I wanted to go back to blonde.  To cover the red I’ve tried dying it platinum blonde (doesn’t work), really dark (doesn’t work) and leaving it to grow (takes ages!) so tonight I am bleaching it; if boyfriend gets out of bed to help me.  Ordinarily I’d do something like this on my own, but I really can’t afford to have a patchy bleach job.

So, strand test is done, just got to rinse off the bleach and see if 40 minutes is a long enough developing time.  I’ll let you know :)  Stay young chicks
