I am completely sad, my boyfriends brother and one of my best friends is now at Parris Island South Carolina getting screamed at:( I couldn’t be more proud of him, but just to add a little bit of worry to my body my sisters boyfriend who I have known since I was 8 years old is leaving for a combined Afghanistan Iraq sniper mission:( He is an army ranger.  I am so stressed out with all that, and just to add a little bit of worry onto my plate I recently started a new birth control YAZ I don’t know if anyone else has ever used YAZ but it sort of makes me crazy.  I don’t get periods though if I am not on some sort of birth control, but whenever I do go on it I get kinda INSANE.  Also because I am training for boot camp and on birth control I figured there is no better time than now to quit smoking. This is extra hard:( Loosing weight while quitting smoking.  But I figure I am changing my life, and that is a part of my life I would like to be gone.  I am pretty sure I am allergic to cigarette smoke because after I smoke I always get headaches. School is also just becoming a big stress, but I have to complete all my courses this semester so that when I enter into the air force I will get an upgraded enlistment to Airman First Class I want it soooo bad.

Today I am going over to my boyfriends new house and going to help him and his roommate finish prepping the floors for the carpet people to come in next week.  Then I have work Sun, and Mon.   I work at a warehouse, its a stressful hardworking job that when you come home YOUR IN PAIN:( thank god I only work weekends and sadly I never seem to make enough money, barely enough to get by. But with everything else going on in my life I just do not have time for a full time job, or even a part time job throughout the week.

My goals today are to work my ass off on helping the boys with the house… then I want to go to the gym at like 6:30, and I want to burn 1000 calories or whatever it is that I eat today.  Guys to go to MEPS to enlist I have to down to 145 I want to enlist like NOW!!!!!!!

Day 1 Week 1

This is my first day, and I would like to say that I woke up this morning and was completely inspired to get this done, but that would be a lie.  Today is actually a day that I thought to myself ” This will be my last day of eating poorly, and I am going to eat whatever I want to eat because tom. the real diet starts.  I could not count every hair on my head how often I have thought that to myself.  I couldn’t even count how many times I have told my boyfriend “Hey lets go out to eat, because I am not going to be able to eat this kind of food ever again”.  Those are the kind of things that in my head make it okay to eat the “crap” that I do.

So I woke up this morning and ate a Swiss cake roll, AND a carrot cake hostess 100 calorie pack!!!!! WHY why would I do that.  What was the point on eating to tasty cakes.  There wasn’t, no sense to it at all:(.  But I am not here to get angry at myself.  I am here to come to a realization of what I am doing to myself, and finally accomplish what I need to accomplish.

The rest of the day I am going to eat healthy.  I will probable be going to the gym in a few hours just to burn off the stuff that I ingested this morning.  If you read my earlier post from today I stated what my exercise goals are, and you can tell that I have a lot to work on.  I have a membership to GOLDS gym and I LOVE IT THERE. So I pay a good amount for it a month so I better learn to get my use of it.  I want to go to the at least 5 times a week.  Excluding the weekends, because I work then.

My story:)

Hey everyone, my name is Kassie.  I am 20 years old.  My entire life I have wanted to join the military.  The moment I made up my mind that I was going to join, something happened.  I got braces!!! For anyone who may not already know, you cannot go to basic training if you have braces on.  I am supposed to get them off in January.  I started my process already by going to speak with a recruiter and taking my ASVAB.  My dream is that I get an Intel job.  I received a 87 on my ASVAB and have the scores I need to get my dream job.  I must now wait to enlist until I reach 145lbs.  :( Sadly I am currently 165.  My boyfriends brother is leaving for Marine Corp boot camp tom morning at 0900.  This is my realization moment!!! I HAVE to get in shape by the time he comes back I HAVE to be ready to make this commitment, not just mentally but physically!!!!!  I told everyone that I will be leaving January, so I need to be ready by January.  His brother gets back Dec. 18 and my goal is to get down to 135 before I leave for basic training.  I understand this will be very hard, but I am VERY determined I will make this happen!!!!!  No one can understand how much I want to be a soldier and I will do whatever it takes.  Please follow me along my journey to weight loss, and my ultimate goal of becoming a United States Airmen!!!!!
