Weigh in, a day early.

Since today is Valentine’s day and I’m making my husband a lasagna (the most non-calorie friendly dinner ever!) as well as some biscuits and a cake, I’m not counting calories. I promised my husband that I would not be calorie police, so we could enjoy our meal guilt free. I have to say, I’m looking forward to it. The cake, while not as pretty as I was hoping for, smells amazing! And the lasagna is in the oven, complete with home made sauce that, according to my husband, is “absolutely fantastic.” After chicken and fish and more chicken and more fish… i feel like this is a much needed break.

Also, because of the calorie/carb/sodium fest that is tonight’s dinner… I decided to weigh in a day early. I’m happy to report that I am at 270.3, meaning I’ve lost 6.2 pounds since February 1. I’m sure most of it is water weight, and I’ll probably have another week of water weight loss since TOM will be headed out, so yay for good things on the scale!

    Hahaha that’s so funny! My husband requested lasagna for valentines day as well! He specifically requested tht it not have low fat cheese! So I cheesed the hell outta that lasagna lol. I didn’t keep track of anything yesterday either. I was mindful of portions,but I didn’t calculate my WW points. I’m sure I was still within my range but I didn’t take the time to calculate!

    i love extra cheese on anything. when i make lasagna, the bottom layer is cheese. it tastes good, but also seems to make the whole thing more stable and easier to serve.
