For lack of a better title… Sunday…
Welp. Work sucked yesterday. It was Saturday and normally the boss isn’t around. Not yesterday. Heh. She stayed all day long until 4:30pm. I enjoy Saturdays for the simple reason that she isn’t there. I don’t care if I have a crap load of work to do myself. I can at least get it done in my own time. I wouldn’t have someone breathing down my neck all day long. It just sucked. Everyone knew it. Just.. awful. I came home, had something to eat and played poker up until about 11:30pm. I picked up Drew ten minutes later and we stayed up until about 4am. We played Scrabble, had a few beers and just kicked back. I love him =)
We woke up pretty early today. Correction.. HE woke up early today. I wanted to stay sleeping but I’m sure he wouldn’t let me if I had slept past 10am so I got up around 9:30am. We’re enjoying coffee right now. He’s watching some Boxing match on TV. Blech. Boys =P I’m about to get up and make breakfast. Scrabble is in our near future, I think. Tonight we’re going out to dinner with Katie, Ashley and Shannon. It should be fun. I wanted to go to a Chinese Buffet because I haven’t been to one in a really long time. I’m going to try to remain mindful of what I am putting in my mouth. I have to be careful at a buffet. Especially when I’m around people who don’t really watch their weight and don’t really care what they put in their mouths =/ I’ll choose brown rice, load up on veggies, grilled chicken or fish. I’m sure I’ll have a taste of a few other things but I won’t get a heaping pile of lo mein on my plate.
Anyway. I should get going before the boyfriend starts crying before he’s hungry lol.. Talk to you girls later. Have a wonderful Sunday. I’m sure I will be on to read and comment later tonight after I drop Drew off at the station.
