Family Beer Pong - Warped Tour - Sun Burned

This past weekend was GREAT! Let me see. Thursday night was fun. I went to Nicoles house with Ashley & Shannon. We watched Revolutionary Road. Not a great movie but come on.. Leo and Kate reuniting? I had to buy it! =P

Friday I had work and then went out to a bar/resaurant with Katie, Ashley, Amanda & Christine. That was fun. Ate WAY too many chicken wings that night but had fun doing it.. That’s for sure!

Saturday was AWESOME. I woke up around 8am. Got laundry done, had chocolate chip pancakes & coffee and then got ready for WARPED TOUR! Nick picked me up and we were stuck in traffic FOREVER. We decided to get off one of the exits, went in a loop and finally found our way. It was awesome. A TON of people were there. We were lucky cause the band that we wanted to see play went on stage about 45 minutes after we had gotten there. Me, being the psycho that I am, wanted to get as close to the stage as possible. I was practically on the outter line of the mosh pit that a bunch of guys started. It was pretty funny. It’s a amusing and fun to get crazy like that but it really takes away from the appreciation of the music. It was hard to enjoy it because I was too worried about getting kicked in the face by the hoards of people jumping on eachother and body surfing. For what it was though, it was a good time. We hung around and watched a few more bands. Overall, it was great. I am, however, an idiot and didn’t wear much sunscreen so I am BURNED.. mostly on my left side because of the way the stages were faced. Oy! We went to dinner and got home around 7pm. I tried to take a nap but didn’t fall asleep until 9:30pm or so. I set my alarm for midnight because Drews train was going to arrive around 1am. I woke up, took a shower, downed a few cups of coffee and headed to the train station at 12:30am to pick up my sweetheart. His train came in at 12:59 so the timing was awesome. We got to my house and stayed up until about 5am. It’s so wonderful to wake up with him. I can’t describe it. We always lay in bed for about an hour and a half before we actually get up. It’s indescribable… Anyway!

Sunday morning we woke up, mom made breakfast and then I had to cover an hour shift at work in the afternoon. Not too terrible. After work we went to the food store and picked up some beer pong supplies and burgers. We BBQ’d, floated in the pool while snuggling on the raft and played beer pong ALL afternoon. It was AMAZING. I don’t know what he does to my family but my parents and aunt even played beer pong. Can you even imagine? My FATHER played beer pong! I was and still am DUMBFOUNDED by that. My gosh! We all had a wonderful time and then it was time to take Drew back to the train station. That was hard.. then again, it always is. It never gets easier but I have to keep in the back of my mind that the next time I see it will be even better then the last. Gotta take the good with the bad in a long-distance relationship. So anyway, after dropping him off I came home and the family and I played some poker out in the screened porch until around 10pm. It was.. an indescribable weekend and I am grateful for the amazing time I had =)

SO! Plan is for him to come next weekend too. I will be in CT most of August so he figures he’ll come one last time this month and then next month I’m mostly there for days at a time. It’s gonna be awesome! SO EXCITED!

Food has been… meh. Not too great, really. Today has been a weird food day. My meal plan was:

Hmm… That seems like A LOT of food to me. All foods aren’t too terrible for me, but still. The chips & chocolate were highly unncessary. Sigh. Tomorrow I’m going to plan better. I’ll make breakfast in the morning and I’ll bring lunch. Not sure what dinner will be. I may be going to a clothing store with Nicole to pick out a dress for the wedding in September. I’ve got a little over a month but still.. might as well start planning right now =P At least get some ideas as to what I want to get. Might try out Kohls. They have good stuff sometimes. I’ve got to go food shopping, for sure. I’m out of ww bread and creamer. So yeah, I guess that’s all for today. I’ve got to get going. I’m heading to the store to pick up Ashley and then we’re going to the bowling alley to wait for Amanda & Christine to come. They are bowling against my brother and cousin so it’ll be funny to watch them. Hehe.. =)
