TOM - Welcome =P

TOM came┬áthis morning. I was hoping it was going to come earlier but I’ll take today. Thursday is when I leave for CT so I’ll be on my third day. By the fourth it should be completely gone. We’ll be going tubing and that’s extremely uncomfortable so.. I’m pretty happy it’s come when it did. Not bad. Much better then landing right in the middle of it. Except now I’ve got a bit of a sore throat. The right side hurts when I swallow. Kind of a dull pain. I just checked online and it could be because of allergies, which makes perfect sense. I’m gonna drink lots of liquids today. Maybe get some orange juice. Yogurt. Take pain killers. Maybe gargle with warm water and walt. If it’s not one thing I’m worrying about that will ruin my weekend it’s something else. Argh >:(

Food, water and exercise were all awesome yesterday. Calories didn’t even reach 1,000. Probably one of the lowest cal days I’ve had in a REALLY long time. Didn’t do it on purpose though. Just wasn’t that hungry and I didn’t want to eat just to eat. I went to the gym on my break and had a good forty minute work out. Half way through my stomach really hurt so I went to the bathroom. Felt much better afterwards =P I got back on the treadmill and finished off my work out. I did 2.5 miles and was hoping to do another .5 to even out a three mile walk/jog but I ran out of time. Oh well. I finished off my work day and then Shannon and I went to Kohls. I wanted to buy a bathing suit because the one I have has extra fabric in the tushy. It looks kinda weird but I guess I’ll just have to deal with it because I couldn’t find anything I really liked. It’s silly to buy another bathing suit anyway when this one is practically new. Plus, I’m going to be wearing a hanes t-shirt over it for tubing. Drew says I can get lots of bumps and bruises if I don’t. Also going to be wearing a pair of shorts. Didn’t have old shorts because I don’t wear shorts so I bought a pair. They’re capris but fit wonderfully. Thinking about cutting them a bit shorter though. We’ll see what I wanna do.

Todays plan was supposed to be work, the gym with Katie and then Ashleys to cook and eat dinner. I don’t know if I’m going to now though. I’m considering just coming home, doing laundry and starting on packing. I’m not going to have any time to do it. I’ve got a ten hour shift tomorrow and everything needs to be ready to go as soon as I get out of work on Thursday. Blah. Guess I’ll figure it out.

Welp, I guess that’s all for today. Almost 8am. Should probably take my shower, pack lunch and get everything ready to go for the day. Yawn. Later, girls.

  1. Wow, an early post. I’m really enjoying your daily posts.

    Nice work on the 2.5 miles–especially since it was so near TOM. I’m low on appetite the day directly before my TOM comes too. It’s the three days before–for two in a row–that I get crazy choco and salt cravings.

    I hope your sore throat clears so you don’t feel run down on your trip, but on the other hand, you will learn how sweet Drew will be when you feel under the weather. :D

    I’m looking forward to hearing about your trip. It sounds so fun. I hope the weather is just perfect for you!!

  3. I’ve had a few days where my calories are under 1,000 and they’re not on purpose either. sometimes i’m just not hungry! good job on getting to the gym.
