You spin my head right round..
I like this song. Just got the techno version. It’s fun =) Dirty… but fun.
I haven’t written in the past week because a lot of stuff has happened. Oh lord. Where to begin? I’m going to make this as short and sweet as possible.
Exercise hasn’t happened this week but food is getting better. I’ve been really into cottage cheese doubles, actually. It’s the cottage cheese with the jam on the side for dipping. Delicious! I’ve been having that every morning. It keeps me satisfied up until lunch time and it’s only 130 calories. I bought four the other day so I’m going to have one this morning for breakfast. Today the gym can’t happen because of work but I have absolutely NO plans tomorrow so I’m definitely going to get there to run.
Drama happened with the group of friends. Apparently Ashley went on my blog and read my stuff. Yeah, she came on here and found my screen name and read everything I’ve ever written about Katie. I was frustrated with her. What did she expect me to say when she asked me if I liked her girlfriend or not? Me saying “Actually Ashley.. I don’t like her” would cause a MAJOR rift in our friendship which is why I didn’t. Funny thing is that morning I decided to push asside all negative thoughts of Katie and try to get to know her without Ashley being around. I wanted to walk on the track with her and do dinner or something.. then that night is when Ashley confessed to reading it. One in the morning I’m sitting outside on a bench freezing and talking to Katie about it all. It’s all settled though. No problems. Next week we’re going to get together. Should be fun.
Jaime came home! She came here last weekend. We had fun. Went to Dave & Busters for a little while. Had a few drinks. Stayed up and talked. I miss her. We were in the car driving to DB and I got really teary eyed because I miss her in my life. If there was any time in my life that I need her the most it’s now. She hasn’t been around for anything that has happened since I broke up with Ashley and it sucks. I’m going to make it a point to call her more often. Even if it’s just to say hi for a little while. I need her in my life. =/
NOW! Fun stuff. To recap the Drew situation. Shannon started talking to Dave from OKcupid.com. They wanted to meet but Shan didn’t want to go alone. I said hook me up with someone and I’ll come. Dave hooked me up with his friend Drew. We ended up talking everyday through text and eventually two and a half hour phone calls at night. He’s awesome and keeps me smiling through out the day. Last weekend the four of us finally got together and we had an AMAZING time. I was instantly comfortable with Drew. We met them at Penn station. The second we saw eachother we just hugged for a long while, I looked up at him and he kissed me. Right in the middle of Penn station! The rest of the day was much of the same. Shan and I were in the city for TWELVE hours with those boys. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Dave is a VERY awkward boy though. He just doesn’t know how to court a lady, I guess you should say. We went to Dave & Busters in the city and Drew and I just had a GREAT time. We held eachother, kissed.. ahh, it was amazing. So, we just had to see eachother again as soon as possible. Yesterday him and I had our first official date alone. I traveled to NYC by myself which is HUGE for me. It was scary and something that I’m totally not used to but I wanted to see him so badly. I was willing to do anything. When we saw eachother in Penn we hugged, he picked me up and twirled me around. Ahh! We had no obligations, nothing we had planned to do. It was just the two of us and we could do whatever we wanted. We went to this cute little cafe place called Andrews for some breakfast. The waiter was very sweet and.. get this.. during our meal he comes up to us and says “I gotta tell you, you two make the most adorable couple then I’ve seen in a long time. You’re personalities are identical”.. O.O <— those were our eyes lol.. Drew looks at me and says “Oh boy.. we’re in trouble, aren’t we?” He took me to Grand Central station because I’ve never seen it. Right in the middle we were dancing to no music. He picks me up again and twirls me around. We’re kissing the whole time. It was just.. intense. We went to lunch at Hard Rock and had an AWESOME time. Too much money being spent each time we hang out though so the next hang out is going to be a picnic in Central Park I think. It’s cheap, we’ll bring a blanket and spend the whole afternoon. It’s going to be hard to make this work out between us. He lives in Connecticut. The city is basically in between us though so it’s a good meeting place. Next weekend he’s taking the ferry here Saturday night to meet my friends and on Sunday he’s meeting my family =) ..This is getting serious girls. He’s an awesome guy. At first I wasn’t really expecting anything because he isn’t physically my type but.. he’s too much of a good guy and his awesome personality totally makes up for it. He’s great so.. we’re going to see where this takes us and if we can work out the long distance between us then great. It’s definitely something I am willing to try and it’s something he’s willing to try too… so yeah.. =) Good things.
Alright, I guess I’ll end this now. Time for breakfast and then I gotta get ready for work. I think I’m going to be smiling all day today =) Later, girls.

That is just TOO cute Nikki! Adorable. I am glad to hear you so happy also. Glad that you guys talked out the issue re: Ashley/Katie. (I don’t think its cool that Ashley read your blog though - sorry Ashley! lol)

So Kelly (yes, see comment before mine) *MADE* me try the CROW by talking about it–then I had to look it up, then I was curious…now I’m challenged and have a new goal! LOL
A picnic in central park sounds so romantic. Do it! Holding hands and looking googly-eyed at each other is one of the best parts of a relationship. :p I’m glad you’re having fun.
Way to drive to NYC too—I remember that accident you were in. It set you back for a while. Go NIKKI!

I’ve been into cottage cheese for a couple months now - I like adding mandarin oranges or pineapple to it. Yum.
